A lot of people always say that my personality isn't very good, if at all.
I get you, but did you ever wonder - why? Why do I do the things I do? Why am I rude? Why do I shove people around like they're nothing?
Your answer is probably "Nope, never even crossed my mind". Or, "No, actually, it doesn't matter. The rules are rules - and there's punishments for not following them" *cough* Hazard *cough*.
Well I was thinking about it a few days ago and realised that I need to explain, or else certain people will label me as "unfit", "mean", "rude", and "the person nobody should ever take the time to be patient enough with to become their friend". (To those people... my middle finger salutes you
)
Well first off, might as well start with my swearing issue. A lot of people will tell me that I shouldn't swear, that it isn't good. I'd just like to state that they are simply words. Nothing more, nothing less. Just letters put beside one another to form a word. So it's like you're racist - but towards words instead of people.
Let's begin with... "...". My parents say it. My classmates say it. Even my old English teacher says it. And all of them go punishment-free, while I get scolded. Talk about unfair. I really don't get why the word "...." is considered so bad that staff members have to censor it. It's. Just. A. Word.
Next up, "b...". Means "female dog". If someone were to call you that, it's more a compliment than anything. Female dogs are cute. They produce even cuter mini versions of themselves (puppies). They are loyal. And yet... you censor it. You say it's bad. Welp, I'm never complimenting anyone ever again.
There are a lot, but I'll skip 'em to keep this short and quick. Last - "f...". The most versatile word in the English language. There really isn't anything to say about this word. It means a lot of things, too many to count. It's really just depends on what you think of it, in this case "bad". ... bro, explain, with one valid reason, why it's bad.
Then we have why I don't really take having friends seriously, why I push people away. Let's just say I'm scared. I got shoved into a wall multiple times in front of a teacher and they did nothing. I got slapped for opening a book - I had a red handprint for a whole day on my face, by the way. People steal my dearies and read them just because they want something to do. I got scolded because I couldn't do something nobody I knew could. I got hated for voicing my opinion... and that person had the gut to ask me why I didn't voice my opinion. I got abandoned by those I loved and trusted most.
Okay. All that is out of the way. I bet what you're thinking now is - "Change. Lauren, not everyone is like that. You can change. You'll have chances. It's not that hard. And it'll be for the greater good."
If you did, well, I'm amazed. If you really think I'm going to change, you're wrong. I will never change, or at least not for BrokenLens. Ah yes, BrokenLens. The place that literally destroyed my life. I'm not even kidding - I missed meals just to play with my, ahem, BL "friends". Yeah. Mind you, those "friends" ended up making me cry myself to sleep almost every. Night. Ohh, and I also gave up talking to real people. Not saying y'all aren't real - I meant people I actually know in real life. Hah, all that, just to get thrown away like nothing.
Hey, would you like to know something? I can predict replies now. Yeah, I spent half my time focusing on posts to see the replies, to compare them, to see what people usually say. For this, I predict nice, suger-coated replies which, half the time, probably won't even come from the heart. Either that, or hate messages saying how horrible I am, that my opinions are wrong.
Or maybe you'll think of something creative, new and "nice" to say after reading that. I won't stop you, but I wouldn't say I'd appreciate it.
And also, this is my last try - Goodbye. Let's see how long I can stay away before I come crawling back because I need to see if my old friends - the people who were an infinite times better than the ones who rule this community now - are back. And to see if the people I call friends have left or not.
Also, yes, I do know that some of the people who read this are really good people with the kindest of golden hearts. Well if you're one of them, you wouldn't have been offended in any way by this message. Or at least, you would've forgiven me.
And now, I bet half the replies will be people bragging that they weren't offended by this message now, and 98% of them will be lying.
Oh well.
And of course I know I have now ruled out all possible replies - or at least the ones you were originally considering - by dissing them. Well then, if you can't think of anything to say now, don't say anything and I'll just say - Bye.
@BenjyPlayz add me to the honor list and I'll hate you forever \o/
