Vertx: W-what do you guys want from me?

Warrior: Look, before you start dialing those 911 numbers, I'm just going to point out that we're not here to kill you.
Maddie: Y-ya! Isn't that right Lucas?
Lucas: Hm? Oh ya, right.
Vertx: Oh ok. But what do you guys want?
Warrior, Maddie, and Lucas: Meet us down by valley park at dawn.
Vertx: Alright.
I honestly didn't know what to do in this situation. What happens if I decided to not show up? Will they track me down and kill me? Will they kidnap me and tie me up to a chair; forcing me to tell them why I didn't come when they told me? My mind was racing right ideas but in such a short time to come.
What I will do is go to school, pretended that I didn't see anything on that Facebook app and go along with my day and worry about it when I get back from High School. That way, I might have contact with some of my other friends that live near me and I can go to them and explain to them what to do with situations like these.

The school was terrible like usual but my opinion doesn't matter in the box of the government's opinions so no win for me there. I cracked open the Facebook app to see if anything happened while I was gone and well, nothing really happened. The last message from the group chat was from me that was sent 9 hours ago.
The sun was still up but going down in a few hours from now which doesn't give me a lot of time to get my final discussion on whether or not to go to this meetup. My head started to get hot which wasn't a good sign for me. I felt like as there were butterflies in my stomach that were trying to find a way out of my stomach.
I was laying in my bed when I heard a little bird message ringed from my phone. I dashed to grab my phone and saw a text message from one of my closest friends from school, Lie. Lie is one of those friends that you can never get mad at for what she does for people. She sent me a text message saying if I was okay at school. Now, not getting into the juice detail from school but let's just say that I wasn't feeling good at school today.
I texted her back that I was okay and that if I could come over and talk to her about something that I had in my mind which once again, had to do with the meetup group. Only, in this case, I didn't tell her exactly on what the chat was going to be about.
I got a text back from her 4 minutes after I sent her the text about the problem I was having. She said it was fine and that I can come over in about 10 minutes from now. So I waited for the time to pass by and before you knew it, I was off towards her house with my school pack back just in case if she gave me something while I was in her house.
I knocked on her door once and stood back and waited for her or any of her family members to answer the door. To my luck, her dad answered the door for me. Now, like any other sensor, the dad wasn't a huge fan of me because he thinks Lie and me have a thing for each other ever since 5 grade when I accidentally fell right on top of her while I jumped off a swing at full speed. "May I help you?" He said in his deep voice.
"Um, is Lie home? She told me would help me with my uh... math homework! Ya." He gave me those red eyes saying to himself, "God why does this kid have to in my life." I guess he didn't believe what I said cause he shot to Lie's room and said, "Hey sweety. That Vertx guy is here to see you." From there, he left me in the front door as Lie came downstairs. "Hey, Vertx! Happy to see you here. Come upstairs. We can talk about your situation there."
I took off my shoes in front of her house, headed upstairs and took a look of her old elementary school photos like I do every time I come over to her house. "So Vertx." She said while crossing her leg, having the latest BBC newspaper on her lap. "What's up?" I decided to add a little pun into her question cause why not. "The sky for starters and most importantly, I need advice."
She hopped off her pink bed that was covered in glitter, pulled out a book that was titled, "The questions behind sciences," grabbed her glasses, making her look like a nerd and sit back onto her bed and said, "Advice huh?"
She pulled out a pen out of her cubby with a sheet of paper and laid it on top of a mat. "Alright, tell us the scoop." "Ok, so there are these strangers on Facebook that I have been talking for the past 2 days and now they want me to meet them in real life down by Valley park by dawn!"
She looked pretty convinced that I was telling the truth and not making up some false stores like I have been doing in the past. "Well, for starters, you could not go but by the tell of your face, it seems like they told you something about if you don't show up so that might be one of the reasons you came for me for advice.
So what I recommend doing is that you go and see how everything goes. And so that it makes you feel a little bit safer while you do so, I'll come with you." Just when I was about to give her the thanks, her sibling Vhemotion came crashing into the room and started to sing the love song. "Vertx and Lie sitting in a tree K-i-s-s-i-n-g. First comes love, then comes marriage, then co-" but just before Vhemotion finished the song, Lie pushed her right out of her room and shouted, "And stay out," as she locked the door. "Well, it's true."
"People these days." She said while pulling her long hair towards the back of her. "Well, it's almost time. You should be going." I didn't realize the time until I looked up the time on my phone where it read, "9:48 P.M." "Oh shoot, we better be going." And just like that, we headed off to Valley park which was just down by the road we lived in.

"This is it," I whispered into Lie's right ear. "Just pay attention and oh my god! There they are!" I looked straight towards Lie's direction to see 3 people hiding in the bushes with their hoodies up. "I'll be up this tree, now go!" She pushed me right into the open where they were hiding. "Well... hey guys!" I said in the open. Nobody said a word until a girl from the left bush came running right up to me. "Oh my god! He's so adorable up close!" She gave me the biggest huge a person has ever given me.
"You must be Maddie I presume?" She blushed as she stood back. "Indeed I am." Just then, another person from the middle bush came out. "Hello. I'm Warrior, the girl that loves to kill fictional characters" "Well, nice to meet you!" Last but not least, came out a boy this time from the right bush. "Hello. I'm Lucas if you couldn't tell by now.
They all looked at me and said, "I think we will get along very well!" I smiled at them to make sure I agreed with it. But just then, out of nowhere, a lady in a green suit came out of nowhere with a knife in her hands. "Wait! The f... who's she? We didn't invite anyone else. I rushed towards the group said as the lady in green started to get closer.
“Hello. I am Lauren and I'm from the dark web. I was sent by the dark webmaster to kill all of you.”
