Ender pearl thing

Ok recently, I noticed that this has been happening to me (and a lot more players).
Sometimes, when I pearl to mid(or other parts of the maps), I just die, even though I am not low. Idk if this is a bug but it happens to a lot of people, so I decided to report it here.
