Chapter 5- End Of The Road
Cakeyy rushes out the door first as everyone else follows behind.
"Woah, it stopped hailing." Windex points out.
"Yea, a good thing but right now, we have a bigger problem," Dist replies.
The floor started to shake under them and they felt like coming back in in case of the floor breaking apart.
"What's going on!" Evie shouts.
"I don't f-ing know!" Jxzzy shouts louder.
All of a sudden, the floor stops shaking.
"That's it?" Dark said.
A minute passes and nothing happens.
"Well, nothing happened. Let's go back inside." Khoa says as he starts walking back along with the rest of the group. Dark starts to follow them until he spots a giant shadow in the distance.
"Um, guys, I think something DID happen. Just not here."
Everyone retrieves back towards Dark to see a giant robot shooting fire lasers from his eyes.
"Holy mac and cheese." Pandeee's mouth wides open.
"Mother of God." Anmo and Super say.
"Well?" Cakeyy jumps in the middle of the road. She grabs a black marker from her pocket and draws a straight line under her eyes. "What are we waiting for? Let's save this city." And marches off with her gun behind her back like a player ready to face the final boss.
Cakeyy left the black marker on the floor as a sign that they all should do the same thing.
10 minutes later.
"Took you some time," Cakeyy looks at the sky.
"Well, sorry, the marker you left dried out," Khoa replied.
"Nevermind that." They all sat on a hill while they watched the robot take over the city building by building.
"I did the math and if my calculations are right, we have less than 3 hours before this robot that came out of the meteorite destroys this entire city.
Everyone looked at each other.
"If we don't have a plan, then this robot will think of us like ants and can crush us and boom, game over." Cakeyy gets on her knees
"So, here's the plan or as I call it, Cakeyy's awesome plain! Okay, Dist, Evie, and Super will aim for the head. Anmo, Pandeee, and Jxzzy will aim for the hands/arms. Khoa, Windex, and Dark will aim for the legs. As for me, I will enter the robot and destroy the heart. Now, let's go!"
They entered the city like a cutscene in a badas* video game.
"Well, well, well, look who it is." The robot said to them in a robot voice.
"You don't belong here." Pandeee shakes her hand in the air.
"And neither do you." The robot shoots a laser towards them.
"EVERYONE, STICK TO THE PLAN! RUN!" Cakeyy shouted to them.
"Psst, Dist, Psst, Super," Evie says while being on top of the robots head. "Over here." Dist and Super looks up at Evie as she grabs the rope that Evie dropped down. "Alright, our job is to destroy this robot head but also being sneaky at the same time."
"That will be hard, but we will find a way." Dist response.
"C'mon guys!" Anmo shouts as he super leaps into the air.
"Alright, Mr.Anmo, we're trying our best." Pandeee and Jxzzy respond.
"Wait a minute, you don't have a weapon." Pandeee looks at Jxzzy.
"Doesn't matter." She states.
"Shut up both of you and help me unarm his hands."
They all took a sewer driver and took sides of the arms. Pandeee took the left arm while Anmo and Jxzzy took the right side. "I-i-itz sha-a-k-y!" Anmo tries to talk as the robot constantly moves.
"Just try your best Anmo! We need to get his or her arms off as we were told!"
"Koha! What are you doing! Get the legs before he starts moving again or else, we will never get the chance to disarm his legs!"
Koah jumps into action and takes the leg Dark was working on.
"Don't worry, I'm here to help! Koah smiles but Dark doesn't.
"I got his legs!" Windex replies.
We did tooo... wait a minute. That means."
Suddenly, the entire robot started to fall apart. Everything crashing onto the ground.
"EVERYONE! APERT! APERT!" Dark shouts
In just under a minute, everyone got off the robot and started to check if everyone was here.
"Alright, it looks like we're all safe!" Dark says in a relaxed mood.
"Wait, were's Cakeyy." Dist surprises the crew.
"Oh no."
"Almost...there...GOT IT!" Cakeyy rips the heart out of the robot that was the main control of it. Once she ripped the heart out, the entire robot starts to really act up. She didn't have any time to escape but she saw an escape hole.
"Wait! There she is!" Windex spots her falling from one of the eyes of the robot.
"Hey, guys! I'm here and safe!" Cakeyy smiles.
Evie and Anmo rush towards her to give her a big hug.
"Oh, thank god you're okay!" Anmo and Evie tell her.
"Aw, well, it was really nothing.
But just then, the entire robot started to fall down and right towards Anmo, Evie and Cakeyy!
Pandeee noticed it and started to shout to them
"CAKEYY! EVIE! ANMO! WATCH OUT!" But before they could've realized the robot falling behind them... it crushed them.
"Oh...no," They replied in a slow voice. "This can't be how it ends..."
* * * * *
4 days later
"We have lost 3 of our best heroes, Cakeyy, Evie and Anmo. But to this day, they will never be forgotten. Their bravery and trust we had in them will continue to live in our blood. But for now, may they rest in peace. Amen" Dark closes the book and takes his hat off.
Everyone in the crowd throws a red flower onto their coffins and start to cry. "It's alright." They say in their minds.
That day, the sun settled down from the distance and at night, it rained harder than it ever rained that single year.
The End.
