We need someone to help Vertx. I know, Vertx codes 90-98% of the server, but Edw knows how to program, too, so why not let Edw program 50% of BrokenLens and Vertx codes 50%. This will help BrokenLens in many ways -
  • Edw is active, so he can fix bugs that we report
  • Edw can code with Vertx. When there is lag, he can restart the server
  • We won't have too much lag
  • Vertx will get a chance to relax and he will have someone to help him
Edw does program the server, but he doesn't program it as much as Vertx. Let Edw program 50% and Vertx programs 50%.

Oh, and Edw could get a new tag. It could be the Developer tag.

You should make sure edw wants to help him with the programming before posting a thread like this

He ALREADY has the developer tag in the server, also FlowingMedia helps vertx

I do not code the minecraft server at all xD
The problem is that I am not an experienced java developer. My domain of knowledge is web development with languages like javascript, and I have never been in contact with the brokenlens codebase before so I don't know if I would be of any help with the server development itself. But of course I am always open to learn new things :p

Edw is soon gonna be busy with a super long list of usernames to change their ban period to permanent so he can stop complaining about me thinking he can’t permanently ban, maybe he won’t have time to code. :p

The way this is worded you kind of make it sound like Edw does nothing. He does a lot more than most people think. He is an Administrator for a reason. We can't make him do what we want.
