So i was talking in the staff chat on the server the other day about a few things and @edwjusti pointed something out to me. I need to change. While i try to help out i just make things worse all the time.
I've decided to do something i didn't think i would be doing for a while but he said one thing out of everything that stood out to me. I can't tell if a player needs my assistance because I have them ignored. That's why.. I have done this.
While i still have this user on my ignore list i have a reason for it which i do not have to explain.
I'm gonna try get back into managing the reports of an evening / early morning, I know ssunsett has a lot on her plate with the amount of reports she does in just the day alone and feel like contributing back on the player reports would greatly help her out.
This is me trying to change, I have been trying to help the server, i have been trying to show i care about the server and it's players by suggesting ideas (I originally suggested /pet name) If nobody can see this as an attempt at trying to make a fresh start once again.. then i am sorry.
I'm sorry if i have ever banned anyone by mistake, I am sorry if anyone has been muted by me on a mistake. Remember, staff are meant to be here to help. I know i have been showing a bad image lately.. I got stressed, managing 1000+ players on your own is no easy task, especially when no other staff are online or busy due to in real life activities but i still try to put up with it. To help all the players who play on the network.
I don't interact much on the server or add many on my friends list because i am worried about the amount of spam i would get from everyone. While people may think of this being an easy method to call for help, there is always the /report command which provides even the smallest details for staff to spectate the player when they are next online or if they are still online.
Normally i interact a LOT more via Discord as I feel like it's connecting more with the players and the community in general. On Discord anyone can share screenshots, images, talk in voice and really get to know a player / staff member. I am normally on there so if anyone actually wants to take their time to get to know me or want to get to know me better my Discord is Hazard#0001
I would also appreciate it if players clear the plate with the past. I know i have said some things that have hurt players and I am sorry for saying all of those things. I've taken a small break the past few days, thinking about my role and what it means to other members. How i acted in the past doesn't show a good example of how i help which is why i am starting this from a fresh.
