The only thing I can really think of when this happens is them being disconnected, sometimes the disconnected tag doesn't appear and you'll kind of just have a frozen player that defies gravity and can't be killed. They aren't really in-game or on the server, and will eventually poof within a minute or two.

I think this is just a visual bug, they might have log out but the server didnt registered it.

Oh yes i remember me, pedro and the others had the same bug on mw where thier npc is on the spawn but we can't kill or inflinct any damage to theme(thank god vonbon or penquin or tem or someon my brain sucks i think kick em.).
