How come on my general chat it says read only? Am I muted or something?
 
It unfortunately has been more than eight and a half days since the last visible reply was posted. I apologize if I sound a bit pushy with this request or if there are ways I personally could help out with the situation but I figure it would be really nice if the discord server would be back up soon. I'm not quite sure at this point what checking for replies exactly means so some clarification or transparency on that would really help.
Some of my friends on here have even made separate unofficial discord servers with hundreds of members to play on BrokenLens together and to vibe. Hopefully things could be clarified and that everyone will be able to hang out on the server again especially with the holiday season coming up and with more players wanting to communicate with each other and help out with the server. :thumbsup:

I do agree, Because In one server, Some of the BL players are there, Making their own unofficial discord just to play, I don't usually talk at the dc because, I'm dumb and that's fine, But hopefully they bring it back soon.:x3:

It seems like the voice channels on the server are still completely functional (Likely because of how users can't check through what other users said to each other in the past.) although all of the text channels seem to be muted for all users including for a couple of moderators I messaged earlier about the issue as well like TrenzK and Icy.
It's a bit peculiar that it's not something that is transparently brought up within something like a pinned forum post or a discord server announcement given just how many people were actively participating in the discord server. In my opinion, It's not too late to further clarify on the situation and I feel like that transparency would generally lead to a more positive environment for both the players vibing on here and providing feedback and resources as well the staff members who tirelessly work day and night to help everyone out.
Again, I really hope that this is something that could be resolved relatively quickly as I found the discord server to really add in terms of the overall experience. :)

Yup, the voice channels are still functional but, Not the text channels, But I do agree to clarify on the situation for everyone to know, Because some people are confused that either they got muted for smth, But no. It's not working for everyone, Expect for some Staff Members, But, If they do want the server to open for replies, They should have a more positive comment not talking trash about the server, Again, Like u said, Hopefully they open it for replies.

No one's answering because we don't know when, or if, the discord will be open to replies again. I believe it has to do with the fact that the discord was pretty toxic in general, as well as some other issues, but that's mostly speculation.

Is there anything that can resolve the issue? I know people get kicked or banned quite often for spam or harassing others, but is there something that could be done to help reassure it?
I know the BrokenLens bot is useful (in most cases), but what can be done to resolve this, using the bot, or by reports/staff moderation?

The Brokenlens Discord server was made by Edwjusti. So I'm assuming there isn't a way to resolve the issue, unless he fixes the server.

The Brokenlens Discord bot was coded by Edwjusti.. although, I don't think the Bot has anything to do with why no one can chat.

So it basically is a 'good' thing that the chat got muted- and well, Kim isn't wrong- the Brlns discord server is/was toxic.

I get what you mean, I just was wondering how these issues could be resolved, without having to punish the entire community into silence there, as I found it was easy to talk to others there, I can live without it, I just thought I'd ask about it, since I always wondered what is actually going on, if it has to do with the people, the mods, or the bot.
