Discord Issue

So, I tried doing /discord in the server, and it gives me a 6-digit PIN. I tried pasting the numbers correctly, however after pasting it an error appeared in my screen.

‘Your message could not be delivered because you don't share a server with the recipient or you disabled direct messages on your shared server, recipient is only accepting direct messages from friends, or you were blocked by the recipient.’

Is there a way that I can fix this? Or did I make a mistake while verifying?

Go to Settings > Privacy & Safety and check that "Allow private messages from server members" is enabled. If it's disabled, turn it on and try again. It should work now
