Differences between splatter and Splatoon 2

This thread isn't organized properly, because of which most of us are getting confused. Please edit, and organize this thread properly.

As a person who has played both Splatoon (both the first and the second) I can answer your question(s).

NOTE : I'm assuming if you are asking if these things are implemented on the server.

1.) Yes, you can die on peoples ink, only in splatter though, in actual Splatoon, you will not be able to squid into the ink and you can move around as fast.
2.) Technically, the ghast tear drop is the super jump, but you don't get a choice to whom you want to super jump to.
3.) No, the only weapons we have in splatter are the splattershot and the blaster (I'm pretty sure that's what its called).
4.) Yes, by running fast (sprinting), you can "swim" in your ink.
5.) You take damage when you are on other peoples ink in splatter.
6.) We do not hold Splatfests in splatter, this would be very hard to recreate.
7.) Wall climbing is possible in splatter.
8.) We do not hold any type of special gameplay (Private Battles, Friend Battles, Ranked Battles, League Battles, or Salmon Run).
