Deleting Accounts Perm For Admins

I trust the staff I'm just saying mistakes can happen. Thats like saying 'if we give everyone admin, we can trust them since we trust vertx!' I wouldnt mind if admins had this power I'm just seeing both sides ;-;

I see everyone as an equal and I would never think to judge someone. I believe everyone here is a capable thinker and may not be good at math, english or whatever still has a right to speak, vote or share their opinion.

I think this thread is actually more important than you think! Giving admins more permissions is good since we all know Vertx is busy and does not always have time to do these things. Which is why admins should have the ability to delete crews, check the IP of players, mute and unmute players from forums and just have a little more power since they are more active than Vertx and that’s good because then people won’t have to wait so long to get their account deleted, unmuted or get their IP checked etc.

exactly! i appreciate the work of vertx and the staff, but i think we need to give more responsibility to the admins since vertx is busy, and this will cause things to move faster!

IPs are sensitive information about players only the owner and developer should have this permission, you actually don't know what you can do with ips, not very much, but i may tell you if you don't know, and that's it, admins should only have permissions inside the server, ips can be used outside the server, so.. even admins shouldn't have this permission, even if they are trusted, vertx already knows

it's not a problem if it takes tooooooooooooooooooooooo long to get the ip checked
also, if you have someone's ip
you can get their personal information, you can shut down the internet for the user, you can take a screenshot of their face irl, you can control their whole device

That’s why these admins are admins because they proved themselves trustworthy. I don’t think any of these admins would want to fiddle around with your IP for pleasure.

You can literally say BYE BYE to the whole server
vertx knows about hacking so he's safe

I'm kinda against this. Many users (including myself) have asked for their accounts to be deleted and yet many still come back to play on them. And it would be so pointless for staff to delete account for users to just add them back or even make more. I am also with the ip address thing as well, even though I show my face and am okay to say what state I live in, having my personal information like that is very disturbing and even though I genuinely trust the staff I've experienced many times people have hacked into my stuff or even had friends who have been harassed cause their ips were leaked or accessed. And I'm not saying I dont trust staff or that they'd do this, but I'm not that comfortable and 100% trusting on that level of personal information, idc who you are. So I'm against this.

If you really want your account deleted you should have an extremely good reason as to why or you have to be inactive for 3+ years or something. But I dont think vertx should allow the staff to have that level of permission because I'm honestly against it and knowing they have that much info for me is very idk....stressing even talking about it.

and that point is not with us, the hacker may leak everyone's information or sell it, that won't be good, then, Brokenlens'es Reputation will be very low and bad, and no one would ever join

I can see why you would be uncomfortable. Then maybe admins should have just the “less complicated” perms like deleting crews and little things like that!
