Definition of Targetting

but actually its annoying
I remember a person back then who kept targeting me for being friends with his friends but sadly that was two years ago and back then I didn’t have a Forums Account To Report Them :/

This is incorrect, you must be killed 4-5 times by the exact same player to be considered targeting.
there's been so many situations where I was stuck with a camper at the end who has 5 lives still and I had to kill them 5 times

It’s incredibly easy to tell the difference between targeting compared to someone just being salty or camping. :p

I agree it should be video proof instead. Ik I’m replying late but still. Taking a screenshot won’t rlly show like, the backstory or the whole match.

Personally, I don't see how someone can specifically "target" someone in a game like OITC. The whole point of the game is to get as many kills as possible; besides, when I'm playing OITC, I usually can't even remember the face of the last person I killed! I don't believe targetting is an issue in OITC.

usually ppl target someone if they don't want that person to win, so they lessen their lives. Its like if there are two pros in one game. One pro targets the second pro so that they loose. After the second pro gets eliminated, the first pro can easily kill the other players, because the second pro isn't in their way.

I think the best way to truly find out if someone is targeting you, you'd want to get screenshots from different matches. Because one match could be coincidence. Sometimes, matches in games such as OITC can start with as few as only 4 players, which means you would only have 3 choices of people to kill, making it more likely of you to kill the same people.

tbh I feel the the only way you know for sure if someone’s targeting is video proof. A pro who gets a lot of kills could kill you 4 times in multiple games and not be targeting you. Screenshots can’t tell the full story. For example, in hippos ban, by lookin at the screenshots it looks like he was targetting, but in reality he wasn’t. But also a lot of people can’t record so idk

When they accuse you of having them target multiple occasions in the game, it’s because most of the time they teleport to you

I throroughly agree with your comment; pros usually go for opponents they think are a challenge to their "throne".
"Targetting" is nonexistent in games like OITC. The whole point of the game is to get as many kills as possible, and taking down opponents you are intimidated by more often than others is just part of the gameplay.

Yhea and then they report u because they keep coming for u but u keep killing them so they screenshot the 4-5 times u killed them. So it makes it look like u targeted them, when rlly they targeted u. This is why we need video evidence.

And I still think me being banned 2 times for targeting a camper is stupid. Like bruh, NO ONE ELSE KNOWS OR CARES THAT THEH R CAMPING EXCEPT FOR ME. Like, it’s sooo stupid. STUPID! And then I slowly waste my lives killing those stupid campers. because they r ruining he game for everyone. I’m helping the ppl who deserves the win, win. Not the stupid campers. And other ppl got banned for this “targeting” reason. So unfair. Like we r pretty much doing the right things. And then we get banned because of stupid “screenshot” PROOF. And maybe when they stop camping, we will stop targeting. Why didn’t ppl think of video proof earlier?!
