I downgraded to io-bit 1.1 and it worked!

Yeah, removing just the skin from file and putting a different one there. And make sure it still has the name of bionic.png

If you can tell, the skin from dz has a lot more pixel details, that's why that skin doesn't work with the capes. The files inside has it to where it only read the normal pixel skins.

ok, I got dz's skin to work but you cant choose slim arms so the arms glitch up
