I only use split controls in games that require aim like quake craft for example, split controls is the worst for pvping on pe (in my opinion)

It depends on the player's preference of playing style lol
I have friends who pvp better with split, while I on the other hand would rather have a freestyle aim for pvp
but as Ham said ^ I use it for games that require aim (quake, murder mystery sheriff role, splatter, etc.)
