Constructive Criticism Vs. Criticism

I want to know others people’s onpinions on constructive criticism versus criticism. I guess you could call this a debate thread. I see people commenting on other people’s artwork and want to know the difference between constructive criticism and criticism. I also want to know the best way to criticize someone’s artwork without hurting their feelings or coming off as rude. There are so many aspiring artists out here, and I want to hear their opinions on criticism and advice.

Questions to Consider:
Is the hamburger method the best way to provide constructive criticism? Or is there another, better way to do this? What can come off as rude to artists? Have you ever had an experience with rude criticism?

This thread will probably get no replies, but I want to know your opinions!

Wait, you didn’t know about the hamburger method? xD It’s when you begin with a constructive compliment, give constructive criticism, then compliment them again.

The hamburger method is probably the only way to be the least rude possible, and
the only way to give critisim and still be considered “nice” is
A.Be famous
B.Be well respected
C.Dont actually critisize at all
We all do critisize eachother but we dont really say it out loud
except for phoenix...
Some give the harshest critisizm and may act tough but once ya critisize them they start to get pretty upset
Some try to be nice about it and theres really no reply to that and it gets ignored
So its pretty much depends on who you critisize and how ya do it.

Usually for me, I tell the person what they did good then what they did bad so they can learn from it.

Usually I say “it could use some improvements here and there but it looks/is great!”
