Constant lag

So I have been playing brokenlens since June 2019 and this has been happening for a long time so after about 2-4 minutes joining the server my ping would go from 80 to nearly 3,000 and when hitting a NPC
It would take about 15 to register so I searched up the problem and found something useful————>https://minecraftpocket-servers.com/server/34108/ping/ (screenshot included below)
So I live very close to Dallas tx so my ping (according to the website that I found the server on back then) Should be 23 ms.Can this you guys help me?

that might be why then.

I remember my iPod touch always being a bit laggy

I feel like most wifi always has some lag- You said your wifi was "ok" so it might possibly be causing some of your issues too.
