Warning ; this mini horror Contains Murder, Kindapping and mild swearing.
RK - random kid.
The clock struck 10pm. Most of the village was out trick or treating, going from door to door collecting sweet chocolates and sugary candy to add to the mass in their pillow cases. The doors where bussling with children, as people held out buckets of sweets. They would wave the children away shut the decorated door.
The streets where illuminated with orange lights and ghost ornaments. The people who went all out with decorations attracted the most children. Jay knocked on the wooden door and held out his pillow case, “TRICK OR TREAT” the 3 screamed. “Oh- haha” the old woman said a bit startled, “pick whatever one you would like” she said holding out a little orange pumpkin plate. Anaya picked a pack of haribo, jay, some refreshers and Ben picked a liquorice.
Ben paced them in his pillow case, as did the others.
Jay ; so where should we head next?
Anaya ; I heard the houses on the east have big chocolate bars.
Jay ; oh sh**, of course! Thats where the rich people are!
Ben ; And they leave the pot out so you can take as many as possible!
The three laughed among themselves and headed down the road.
They heard some running behind them as jays mom hugged him.
Jay ; ughhhh what is it mom?!
Kerry ; Once you eat your candy remember to bring it home so I can check it!, she said out of breath
Jay ; why would you need to check my sweets?
Ben ; Don’t you watch the news? People put needles in them.
Anaya ; sickos....
Kerry ; you stay together ok? BYEE SWEETIE!
Jay ; Yack-
Ben ; bYe SwEeTiE
Jay ; Shut the fk up Ben.
Jay stayed silent for most of the journey. They where almost there as a loud, Catchy voice caught their attention.
??? ; “Do YOU, Want The Best Haunted House Experixance Ever, 5€ entrance fee!”
This was a pretty small village, maybe 200 people resign here. Everyone knew everyone. However this person didn’t sound familiar to them.
Anaya ; I have 15€ Let’s go!
Ben ; Are you sure?
Jay ; What’s the worse that could happen?
Ben ; I guess you’re right.
There was a crowd of 20 odd children crowded around the large house. Most of them handed in more money than wanted as they had no change, but 5 cents was a reasonable price for a scary experixance, especially for kids. As they got closer to the person ushering the children and luring them inside they noticed his face, it looked Porcelain, rubbery, Fake. But they didn’t question it as it was Halloween and everyone was dressed for the occasion. Anaya a took off her mask as she entered the eery room. It was black with blue strobe lights and a lot of fog matchines.
? ; Hey!
Jay ; huh?
Maya; I’m maya! What’s you’re name?
Jay ; Jay
Ben ; Benjamin
Anaya ; Ana for short.
The door behind them slammed shut, and the power went out.
Maya ; I’m no power techintion but I think there should be a generator in the basement.
RK#1 ; How would we find that? It’s so dark in here..
Anaya ; Maybe we could use a glow stick.
Ben ; YEA! A glowstick! That’s so bright it could definitely lead the way.
Jay ; Yikes-
RK#2 ; Follow the carpet, get on your hands and knees and feel for walls.
Maya ; I’ll go find the basement while you find a way out.
Maya ran off to the left.
Jay ; how’d she know where it is?
Anaya ; Dunno, Let’s just do what RK#2 said.
Anaya’s hands directed herself to a window, looking deep into a forest. About 6 people crowded around.
RK#1 ; I never knew there was a forest round here?!
Anaya ; I’ve lived here all my life, neither Did I...
Jay ; What’s that?..
They looked closer to see a figure in a black latex outfit, with a rabbit mask on. They where taken aback but felt safer here than out there.
RK#2 ; DID IT JUST GET CLOSER?!
Anaya ; I can’t see-
The figure ran towards the window smashing it into shards.
Ben ; ITS INSIDE! RUN.
Jay ; WHAT THE HELL!?
They scattered as some hid in a closet and some hid by the sink. The power came on as maya walked back in the room,
Maya ; why are you all hiding!?
Ben ; A.. a... A MONSTER
Jay ; WE ALMSOT DIED
Maya ; awe don’t mess with me, it was probably an attraction to the haunted house. It’s all planned. See? It’s working, you’re getting scared
Anaya ; I guess, it just felt so real...
Maya chuckled and helped them up as they wondered around the house. Nothing scary except the flickering lights. They walked along a creaky floor to the end of a hallway. Jay peaked up at the grandfather clock as it was 10:45pm.
Jay ; my parents wanted me back at this time, maybe we should find a way out?
Anaya ; yea we where meant to have a sleepover and play on the PS4.
Ben ; and this house doesn’t have insulation, it’s cold...
Maya was a good few meters infront of the 7. With some force maya pushed over the clock making a sound like when you slam on the keys of a piano. It revealed a little dugout on the other side was the entrance where they came. Jay peaked out and saw his house in the distance. Maya stepped back. Even though there was an exit, they just looked out. Looking at all the children passing by. RK#4 narrowed his eyes.
RK#4 ; Uhh Guys, What’s taking you so long?
Ben ; Jay, what’s the hold up? Anaya? Jay?
Ben tilted his head slightly to look them in the eyes. Nothing, there was nothing. He looked up at maya who was gone. And it was just him and his 2 friends..
Ben ; This isn’t funny, stop it guys. Guys wake u-hhppp. His sound was muffled.
??? ; shhhhhhhhh.

The 2 walked into the house looking at the man handing out the tickets. His face, it looked, fake, like a mask. But it was halloween, everyone dress⊑⏃⏁ssed lik⟒E Th⟟ at. It was black with blue strobe lights and a lot of fog matchines.
