Hoor was sprinting around the halls of the mirror maze, breathing shallowly. Her knife wound
in her shoulder pulsed with every step as she urged her body forwards. However, her attempt
at escaping was futile. From an upcoming T-intersection in the maze, the two murderers
rounded the corning and threw their knives. Two direct hits; Hoor was dead. The murderers
retrieved their knives from her stomach and neck.
"Don't raise your voice," the male murderer said to his partner. "Her friend is around here
somewhere too."
The murderers drew back into the shadows and waited for their next victim.

Before Hoor's death, her, Arwa and Thai were standing outside the drinks stand, chatting to
each other.
"Hey guys, let's explore the mirror maze!" Arwa said to her friends. "We haven't gone in there
yet."
Thai and Hoor agreed, and the three of them went over to the mirror maze. As they stepped
foot into the maze, a shadowy figure leapt down from above and stabbed Arwa. Arwa
crumpled to the floor, and the others screamed. Hoor and Thai sprinted into the maze, not
daring enough to check if Arwa was alright.
"Leave her," the male murderer said to the female murderer. "She'll bleed out."
The murderers chased after Hoor.

"HOOR!" Thai screams echoed around the maze. "HOOR! WHERE ARE YOU?!"
He and his two friends were exploring the mirror maze when someone stabbed Arwa from
behind and left her to die. They chased and split them up. Thai last saw them chasing Hoor.
He couldn't recognise their faces, as they were wearing black hoodies and clown masks.
Thai rounded a corner and saw a figure on the ground. He thought about Arwa, and how he
left her at the entrance. As he neared the body, the male murderer stepped out of the
shadows and threw his knife. A solid hit; Thai was down, bleeding from the chest. The world
was spinning around him; he was eye-level with Hoor, who was stuck in a permanent scream.
He heard the murderers run away from the crime scene.
This is it... Thai thought to himself. I'm dying...
As he started to lose consciousness, he saw a figure standing above him, rummaging through
a bag. He then passed out.

Thai was confused when he came to his senses. He was lying on the soft grass, leaning
against a stone wall. To his left was Hoor's body, her eyes now closed. Thai jumped up, hit his
head, and swore.
"Watch your language," a tired voice said from his right.
Miraculously, Arwa was alive, a bandage wrapped around her chest under her jacket.
"Arwa!" he exclaimed, and the two embraced.
Arwa started crying.
"Poor Hoor!" she wailed. "Why her??"
"Why us?" another voice chimed in.
Arwa and Thai turned around to face another person, her hands stained pink from blood.
"You're lucky I found you Thai." she addressed him. "If I were a minute late, you'd have died."
Thai nodded.
"Thank you," he said quietly.
The healer turned to Arwa.
"I don't know who helped you, but they've cleaned up most of your injuries," she told her.
Arwa blushed and nodded. The healer nodded at Hoor.
"Take her to the entrance," she instructed them. "and be careful; the murderers will still be
around."
Thai and Arwa hoisted Hoor onto their shoulders, thanked the healer, and headed off to the
other side of the fair.

The male murderer swore loudly when he saw Arwa and Thai place Hoor's body with the
others. The murderers were perched on a tree, the foliage concealing them from view.
"We should've stabbed them a few more times," the female murderer said. "We'll get them
next time."
They both sighed. They'll have to be more careful tomorrow.
