Knowing that there's no escaping Paralight Fair, the remaining 31 people searched for
cushioning objects to sleep on. As the night became darker, a silent figure crept amongst the
eerie fairgrounds, approaching the haunted house. She scaled up the wall, using the thick,
overgrown vines to hoist herself onto the roof. She could see the gate, which was low enough
to jump over. The figure looked over her shoulder, feeling guilty. She promised her friends
that she'd help them get their revenge, but a part of her knew that the overwhelming guilt of
seeing her classmates die will haunt her forever.
At least I won't dob on my friends.... she thought to herself before landing on the other side
of the gate with a slight thud. The traitor looked over at Paralight Fair one last time.
"Stay safe...." Strel murmured before walking off into the distance.
The sun finally rose from behind the circus tent. Everyone woke up and leapt into action, a
few dragging Addilia's and Alairina's bodies to the entrance. Others went to explore the rest of
the fair.
"Race you to the top!" Vertx shouted at Lucas and Lolo before leaping onto the Ferris wheel.
The carriages groaned under his weight as he hopped from one to the other, leaving his
friends behind. He found himself at the top of the Ferris wheel, looking down at the minuscule
people below him. Before he can cheer, a hand grabbed him from behind and yanked him
down onto a carriage. With one swift movement, blood gushed from Vertx's throat. His
murderer panted heavily.
"Darn squirrel!" he hissed. "Why'd he have to be so fast!"
Tin cans clattered as the murderer painted Vertx's face, just like what he did to Addilia. After
he finished, the murderer gave Vertx a shove and sent his body plummeting off the Ferris
wheel. The body landed with a sickening crack, and people yelled from down below.
Chuckling, the murderer tightened his hoodie and leapt from the Ferris wheel to a blue-and-
red-striped slide.
Meanwhile, in the haunted house, Meowsi and Lynx were exploring the rooms. Meowsi
decided to play a prank on her friend.
"OH MY-" Lynx screamed as Meowsi suddenly pushed him into a dark, mouldy room. Before
Lynx could say anything else, Meowsi slammed the door shut and put all her weight on it,
trapping Lynx.
"This isn't funny!" Lynx yelled. "Get me out of here right now-"
There was an ear-piercing scream, followed by multiple thuds. Meowsi turned pale and
yanked the door open. Lynx was bleeding from the chest, a red cross painted on his forehead.
Meowsi looked up to see a dark figure leaping out of the window, leaving behind a pile of pink
and purple glitter. Before she could scream for help, Meowsi fainted next to her dead friend.
Vertx's and Lynx's bodies were dragged next to Addilia's and Alairina's. Meowsi was given a
drink of water, and Lolo and Lucas sobbed at the sight of Vertx's broken body. Some people
also noticed that Strel had disappeared and they assumed that she had also been murdered.
Many were starting to think that Paralight Fair is still cursed and that no one was safe the
longer they remain there. However, the two murderers knew that they'll never get out alive.
@Strel has been voted out, and @vertx and @Lynx_ have been killed
