Cloudtop Ruin (SW map) (A present for Vertx and his amazing server)

This map has been designed for more offensive play in mind with bedrock filling some parts of the outer islands so u can’t dig too deep (still can get ore there but not much), snow on the fossils allowing for the yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeting off of skybasers from their puny towers, as well as ore on the map’s rings that values having a good pickaxe as a tool (yay miner kit has a use on this map), which players will compete for. This map has a chest design that you won’t open within combat but still can open outside of combat, as well as a similar system for crafting tables.

I already had a thread for critique during development of this map so please no major critique, especially on the building aspect of the map saying everyone wanted the map to look better which did eliminate a bit of practicality. Although questions about practicality should still be asked.

Anyways staff please tell me if this map gets accepted, and if it doesn’t then I will be kind of angry because I worked on this for 2 months fixing the problems people will have with this map.

Edit: Can the height limit be set to about 2-5 blocks higher from the highest block (It's on one of the trees) to stop skybasers? That would be helpful! :D

Also please tell me if I submitted the map correctly or not, and if I didn’t I will submit it correctly.

-I updated the map a bit so this download on here isn’t the newest variant.

The islands look crooked. Hopefully they don’t change the distance between the middle and the spawn islands.

Trees need improvement. They look like just logs wrapped with leaves. Add a bit more of a circular shape to the leaves.

Maybe add some different types of stone bricks just for texture and maybe to the grass.

I also like how you think both the gameplay mechanics of the map and the aesthetics of the map. You should make maps for other games too. I believe that all maps should be build like this, a balance between the two.

I don't really see what you mean by crooked islands, because they are all equal distances to mid, diagonal a bit closer because you have to bridge two directions to get to mid.

Looks so much better- nice work- I agree with @SplashingPaint836 that you should add different blocks to the stone bricks and grass it will definitely give it a more "ruins" feel- cracked stone brick and mossy stone brick for the stone and mix something else into the grass - I use lime terracotta, green concrete powder and green wool. It doesn't need a ton of it just enough to break up the monotony of the stone and grass- Good job with the stuff you added under the islands and rings- looks much better :smug:

I had tried mixing in other materials and it looked weird, although I will test further, but if it still looks weird then I won't add anything else to the ground. I'll consider adding some cracked stone brick, but I don't think much of the map would change with that. Unless if you have a severe issue with the primarily stone brick then I'll add that. Anyways, thanks! :D

I updated the map to have course dirt mixed in to it. Preferably for me this is my final update to the map. :D

It isn’t perfectly spaced but I don’t have world edit commands, so I don’t want to go through a whole ordeal just to make a already somewhat equal map total communism.
