Never seen a chicken in the maps before, but 10/10 will pay to see a chicken while playing. As for your question, I'm assuming it's not normal, since I play MM 24/7 and have never seen anything like it.

It depends, it could be an addition to the map, but it could also be the bug where pets can somehow appear in games and or waiting lobbies

Hmm if there was a possibility that it was someone's pet maybe I should've went over to see. Didn't think about that though. Kinda took me off guard. Just gold, stairs, other innocents, a chicken... wait a chicken in MM? I didn't stick around though.... wanted to survive.
