That's too earlyChapter 7, Hope
By @PhoenixOrNah and @LaurenDmm300 v. 2.0
~ At Laura's Place ~
Laura's apartment was spacious, white and clean.
It had two large rooms, a lounge room, and a join kitchen completed with a balcony.
Ray and Lauren sat down on the snow coloured couch.
"Wow. Very nice." Ray said, pointing to the large array of bookshelves.
"Thanks. I'm a bit of a bookworm." Laura giggled.
"Do you mind if I use the bathroom?" Ray asked.
"Go ahead. Lauren and I will have a little talk." Laura giggled bitterly.
As Ray left, Laura stared at Lauren.
"Umm.. do you mind if I read a book?" Lauren's voice was weak, nervous.
"Sure!" Laura walked her to the bookshelf.
While examining the books, she realised they had no titles on them. They were all blank. "What?-"
Laura clapped her hands, the bookshelves opened, revealing a creepy room.
"I don't want you getting in between Ray and I." She pushed Lauren in.
"H-Hey!" Lauren shouted. She turned around, only to see that the hidden bookshelf door had been closed. Lauren looked around. She saw a bed, a desk, a chair, a lamp, and the skeletal remains of what seemed to be a girl around the age of 16. Lauren shivered. She definitely did not want to become like that. She walked over to the desk and opened the drawer. There was a book inside, which she took out and started reading.
Back outside, Ray had come out of the bathroom. He saw that Lauren was gone, so he asked Laura where she was.
"Oh, she fell asleep, so I took her to the guest room to rest for the night," Laura smiled. Ray thought Laura's smile creepy, but dismissed the thought as being simply outrageous. After all, Laura wouldn't hurt a fly, would she?
~ Back At The Hospital ~
"Pixie, you'll have to go home and recover with your parents." The nurse instructed, as Pixie lay down in the bed.
Wolfie was sitting on a chair, awkwardly, looking over Pixie.
"But... I can't. My parents are dead." Pixie whispered solemnly.
"I'm sorry. But you must go back to your normal routine, to help your memory."
"I don't have a normal routine! I don't even-"
"Her normal routine." Wolfie cut in. "Is with me."
Pixie gazed at Wolfie, shocked and bewildered. "You expect me to go home with you, and I don't even know you!?"
"Pixie, im your boyfriend."
"Is there any proof?!"
Wolfie sighed, tears swelling in his eyes.
"Get back to me when you have proof. Then I'll consider going home with you."
"Fine." Wolfie got up, said a quick goodbye, and left. Pixie sighed.
"Is there anyway that we can use to prove that he's my boyfriend?" Pixie asked the nurse.
"The quickest way to find out is to go with him, and stay with him for a while. If anything he does seems familiar, it probably means you stayed with him, because you know his daily routine. But I can't say about the boyfriend issue, although if you stay with him, he probably is your boyfriend." The nurse said, before leaving the room. Pixie sunk into her bed. How was she to decide? She couldn't just go with Wolfie. How could she even trust him?
~ An hour later ~
Pixie lay down in her bed, nibbling on her muffin Shielo bought her.
"I'm so sorry. This is all my fault." Shielo whispered as she sat on the chair next to the bed.
"It's fine. Everyone makes mistakes." Pixie sighed wearily.
There was a long pause.
"How did I meet you?" Pixie asked.
"We met in high school. We became great friends, until you moved away with Wolfie. And-"
"Wait! Wolfie!?" Pixie interrupted.
"Yeah! Wolfie! Your boyfriend."
"He's definitely my boyfriend? Not just some creep who-"
"Pixie!" Shielo laughed. "He's your boyfriend. And he loves you very much. I think you should go home with him."
"Really?" Pixie asked. Shielo sounded sincere, but by now, Pixie didn't know who to trust.
"Yes Pixie. If you really can't believe it, then you might as well come with me." Shielo sighed.
"I'd rather go with you, since there won't be any weird moments."
"Okay then. I'll tell Wolfie, so he won't worry about you. But seriously, you guys loved each other so much."
Pixie nodded sadly.
"I'll go tell the nurse you're coming home with me. And I'll ask Wolfie if he can drop some things off for you." Shielo smiled.
"Thanks. Bye, Shielo." Pixie smiled sheepishly.
For the first time, Pixie felt happy.
~ Back At Laura's ~
"LET ME OUT!!" Lauren yelled at the top of her lungs.
The room was sound proof, so Ray wouldn't be able to hear her.
Lauren looked around the room, hoping to find something to help escape.
She looked under the bed, and found a box, and a very old vacuum cleaner.
She pulled out the dusty box, and blew off the particles.
The box was made of iron, and had a lock on it.
"DAMMIT!" She threw the iron box to the wall.
Surprisingly, the box opened. "Well that was easy." Lauren shrugged.
She went over to the box, and found old newspapers and letters.
She grabbed the first newspaper she saw, and she went cold when she read what it said.
The Daily Prophet
1972, 31st of October.
Laura Aria, murderer of at least 100 people, was found behind a dumpster hiding out. The police officer shot her, and she died at the scene.
She was buried at Crimson Cemetery.
"Wait... If Laura's dead, then... Who's the girl Ray's talking to?!" Lauren mumbled. She frantically walked around the room, thinking. "But wait, maybe she faked her death. But then, wouldn't that mean... Ray's talking to a murderer?!"
Lauren looked through the letters and paper.
There was a black and white photo, of Laura, on the ground bleeding.
"Is Laura... A ghost? No, no way! Ghosts don't exist. There must be a logical explanation!" Lauren yelled at herself. She dropped onto the bed.
"This is way confusing. I guess I'll just ask Laura tomorrow, or the next time I see her." Lauren said, just before she fell asleep.
Outside, Laura and Ray were really getting to know each other well. They already knew each other's likes and dislikes, favourites, and plenty more.
"Say, do you like spaghetti? Cause I'm cooking it for dinner.." Laura said.
"Spaghetti is okay I guess.."
Laura got up, but slipped. Ray grabbed her hand just before she hit the ground.
"Woah!" Ray said.
"What?"
"Your hand... its cold as Ice."
Laura shrugged. "It's pretty cold out here.."
Cold? It was 33 degrees!
Just then, Ray's phone buzzed.
Laura looked at who was calling Ray. It said:
Sara: My to be girlfriend <3
"Who's Sara?" Laura growled.
"Uhh.. Just a friend." Ray gulped.
Ray went out to the balcony and answered the call.
"Hey Ray! Where are you?" Ray could hear Sara's worried voice through the phone. "I checked your hotel room, but it seems you weren't there. Neither was Lauren."
"Oh, we went clubing to find some friends. Don't ask why clubing though. And we met someone called Laura Aria. She seems cool."
"Wait, what was her name? Laura... Aria? That's... Impossible! Laura Aria is a murderer who's been dead for decades!"
"What?? What do you mean?"
"She's dangerous! Get Lauren and-"
The phone cut off.
"Sara?! SARA!?"
"I thought we were gonna be friends." Laura sighed behind him.
"I guess not." Laura swung out a silver knife.
"GET AWAY FROM ME!" Ray yelled, darting to the door.
He got inside, and locked it.
Laura grinned, and flew through the glass.
Ray backed up into a wall.
"What are you?! And where's Lauren?!" He shouted.
"Lauren? She's asleep in the guest room, just like I said." Laura smiled. She pointed her knife at Ray.
"And as long as you do as I say, and I shan't hurt you." Ray nodded. "Follow." Ray followed Laura, who lead him to the secret "guest room". She threw him in with Lauren.
"As long as you stay here, it won't be me who kills you. You'll just decay, and no-one will ever find you." Laura smiled, before closing the door shut, and locking it.
~ At The Hospital ~
Shielo drove back to her place, with her car, which was all smashed up.
"I'm sorry about your car." Pixie murmured.
"It's fine. I don't care about my car. I'm glad you're okay."
"Thanks, Shielo. I can tell we're going to be great friends." Pixie admitted quietly.
Shielo smiled.
When they arrived, Pixie and Shielo entered.
It was a nice house. It had two rooms, a large lounge room, a kitchen, and a backyard.
"Ooh. Nice house." Pixie laughed.
"Thanks. You should see yours and Wolfie's house! It's so lovely." Shielo smiled.
"Can we not talk about Wolfie, please? It makes me feel uncomfortable.." Pixie mumbled.
"Oh... Okay." Shielo said. Pixie could see a small frown on Shielo's face, but it was soon wiped away by a beautiful smile.
"Come on, I'll show you to your room."
"Thanks for doing all of this for me, Shielo."
"No problem."
Wolfie was at home, and he'd gotten Shielo's text. He had started packing Pixie's things, but he started feeling nostalgic, so he sat on the couch to watch some tv.
Memories flooded through Wolfie.
He had so many amazing memories of her.
The first time he met her, she was shy and quiet.
When he asked her out, and she exploded with blushes.
The first time he kissed her. That was one of his favourite memories.
But his most favourite memory, was when she said she loved him.
He loved her so much, he would die for her.
Tears sprang down Wolfie's face.
He shuffled in his pocket, looking for something.
"Please remember me, Pixie." He whispered.
He held out his hand, revealing a diamond ring.
Hope you enjoyed, have a nice day! ~ Lauren
