Chapter 3!! :D

Elina ran down the street to Pixie and Wolfie's house, horrible memories replaying in her mind.
Her breathing was heavy and shrill.
'It was going to happen again.. it was going to happen again..' Elina's hazy thoughts pummelled her mind.
As she arrived, she hammered her fist to the door. "PIXIE!" Elina cried.
Pixie opened the door, shock colouring her face.
"I have to leave. It's going to happen again."
Pixie dragged Elina in immediately.
"What happened?" Pixie asked as she and Elina sat down on the couch.
"Ray... he.." Elina couldn't help herself. She broke down into sobs. Pixie tried comforting Elina but no matter how hard she tried, Elina wouldn't stop sobbing uncontrollably.
"Elina, if you don't tell me what happened, I can't help you. So please, what happened?" Pixie said quietly. She was worried sick about her friend, but how could she help if Elina didn't explain?
"Are You hungry? I can give you some of Wolfie's ice cream." Pixie whispered, going to the fridge and returning with strawberry ice cream.
"Where is Wolfie?" Elina sniffled, taking a spoon of ice cream.
"He said he'd be at work late." Pixie shrugged.
Elina nodded.
"So what happened?" Pixie prompted.
Elina shook her head, her eyes red. "There was this girl. Ray's ex. Ray and I kissed and she was there, staring. I ran off, listening to them. She kissed him." Elina cried.
"You think.. its going to happen again?"
Elina nodded. "Of course it will. That's why I can't get too attached to Ray. And I.. I still miss You-Know-Who."
"Elina, if you're going to always be like this, you'll never find true love. You know that, right?" Pixie said. "You have to get over him."
"I know, but.. it's just so hard to forget him..." Elina sobbed as she ate more ice-cream.
"Ray's not like that. You know how sweet he is. And how considerate he can be. He won't leave you." Pixie promised Elina.
Elina nodded, the memories dimming. "I just miss him so much..." She whispered, a single tear running down her pale cheek.

Pixie and Elina talked, until it was 9:00pm. Elina had decided to take a second chance with Ray. Elina left Pixie, just as Wolfie arrived home.

As Elina was walking away from Pixie and Wolfie's house, she looked back at it.
"How did they manage to sustain such a wonderful and long relationship?" Elina asked herself. She pondered about this question the whole time she was walking home. But on the way back to her house, someone cover Elina's mouth and dragged her into a dark alley.
Someone had kidnapped Elina.

Elina kicked and screamed, but the kidnapper slapped her across the face to shut her up.
"Hello, Elina." The velvety voice chuckled. Elina winced in the darkness. The kidnapper ripped the tape off Elina's mouth.
"Rouge??" Elina gulped. The figure nodded, before pulling out a knife.
"Maybe Ray's moved on, but if I can't have him, well, no-one can." Rouge growled as she covered Elina's mouth with the tape again and shoved the knife into her chest.
Elina screamed in agony, put the tape on her mouth muffled her voice, so no-one heard her.

Back at home, Ray and Lauren were calling everyone they knew, asking if they knew where Elina was. When Lauren called Pixie, Pixie said, "Isn't she with you? She was here a while ago.. She's gone back home, hasn't she? She said she would..."
Rouge popped into Lauren's mind. She now knew how much danger Elina was in, wandering the streets at night. "Sheet.."

Lauren rushed out the house, Ray calling out to her. Lauren ran down the gloomy streets, the wind batting her dark hair. Abruptly, behind an alley way, she heard a rustling. Lauren saw a dumpster, and then a figure carrying a body.
"ROUGE YOU LITTLE-" Sobbing cut her off.
"Pixie?"
Pixie carried Elina's limp body. Crimson trickled down Elina's chest as tears pounded down Pixie's face.
"Elina!!" Pixie's voice cracked with her sorrowful scream. Lauren's face was white. A tear dribbled down her cheek. The shrill buzz of the ambulance echoed through the street...

Pixie, Ray, Lauren and Wolfie sat in the hospital waiting room. Wolfie hung his arm across Pixie's shoulders and hugged her. Ray held his head between his hands. Lauren closed her eyes, waiting for the news.
A nurse rushed out, her face solemn. "I'm sorry, but Elina did not make it."
Pixie and Lauren burst into tears. Wolfie's eyes watered as he hugged Pixie tighter. Ray's face was blank.
"You may dismiss yourselves." The nurse walked away.
"Come on. Let's go." Wolfie suggested, hugging his girlfriend tightly.
Pixie agreed, but first she sat down next to Ray.
"Ray, I'm so sorry."
Ray stared into Pixie's emerald eyes, nodded once, and sat back.
"See you all at the funeral." Wolfie sniffled. Pixie and Wolfie left the hospital.

As Lauren sobbed her eyes out, Ray thought of all the times he spent with Elina. All those sweet, lovely memories...
Ray got up. Lauren looked at Ray slightly, and was surprised. Ray's face was blank, emotionless. He didn't even look sad. Ray actually looked sort of... guilty.
"It's my fault." Ray whispered.
Lauren shook her head. "It's not, Ray."
"I should've told her earlier." Ray murmured softly.
"Told her what?" Lauren blew her nose on a hospital magazine.
"That I loved her."
Lauren would of usually squealed and fangirled, but her heart was heavy and broken.
"Who do you think did it?" Ray was now fighting back tears.
"Rouge." Lauren admitted.
Ray's eyes widened. "Rouge? But she'd never do that. She hates people getting hurt."
"It was Rouge, Ray!!"
Ray headed for the door. "We'll just have wait to see what the police say."

~ 1 Day Later ~

Everyone gathered at Ray's house.
The air was so thick with depression, you could slice it with a knife. Pixie fiddled with the silver bracelet Elina had given to her for her 12th birthday. Wolfie sat near Ray, they were both staring at the tv, but not actually comprehending what channel it was on. Lauren sat with her legs crossed, playing with some of the lego Elina had bought for her.

A knock shattered the silence.
Ray walked sluggishly to the door, and opened it.
"Hello, Ray. I'm officer Awesome, and I've found out who murdered Elina."
"Who?"
"It was a drunk guy. His name was Spongebob Circlepants."
Ray nodded and slammed the door in the officer's face.
"He lied." Lauren whispered as she built a miniature lego statue of Elina. A single tear slipped down her cheeks, onto her jeans.
"We all know that, and we all know who actually killed her. It's so obvious." Pixie said.
"I can't believe she'd do something like this..." Ray murmured. He closed his eyes tightly and imagined a world where Elina still existed, where Elina hadn't been killed. And where Rouge didn't exist.

~ Two Days Later, Elina's Funeral ~

In a floral cemetery, Family and friends of Elina sat down on coal black seats, in front of a russet brown coffin with a wide range of white flowers decorating the sides.
Elina's mother and father were frantic and sobbing. Tears rolled down Lauren's and Pixie's pale cheeks. Wolfie hugged Ray brotherly.
"We've all come here, to pay our respects to Elina." Elina's father said into the microphone. "We have Pixie first, presenting a speech."
Pixie wobbled up the cobblestone, up to the microphone. She took a deep breath, holding back tears.
"Elina had been my best friend since I was ten years old. We were inseparable. She was bubbly, sweet, passionate. And she loved life. She was an amazing girl. I wish-" Pixie paused as she saw a figure in a black cloak taking a seat. Rouge.
"Rouge?" Pixie said.
"Sorry I'm Late."
"ROUGE YOU FRIGGEN ♥♥♥♥!" Pixie darted down the pathway, right to Rouge, and punched Rouge right in the face.
"What the hell!?" Rouge screamed.
"YOU MURDERER!" Pixie screamed before breaking down in a fit of sobs.
"What..?" Rouge asked. "I ain't no murderer.."
"You killed Elina!!" Pixie screamed, as everyone watched on.
"Why would I do that? I barely know the girl!"
"Then why did you come to her funeral?"
"Because Elina was Ray's friend, and any friend of Ray's is a friend of mine."
Pixie felt stupid and humiliated.
"No.. you did kill Elina," a voice from behind Rouge said. "And I witnessed it all."
"What.." Rouge spun around to see Jc, who's eyes were filling up with tears.
"I saw you cover her mouth and drag Elina into that alley. I saw as you shoved that knife into Elina's chest. And I saw you drag the body to dumpster and throw it in, cleaning away all evidence using that sweater of yours." Jc said, tears dripping from his cheeks onto the cold, hard, cobblestone ground.
"Umm.."
Rouge ran, as Pixie chased after her.
"Pixie?!" Jc yelled.
Pixie tackled Rouge to the ground. Just as Pixie started slapping Rouge with her high heel, the police showed up.
"Rouge, you are arrested for murder." They handcuffed Rouge and took her into the car.
"I'LL KILL YOU ALL!" Rouge screamed. "RAY, I'LL DO ANYTHING TO BE WITH YOU AGAIN, MY LOVE." Rouge chuckled deviously as the police forced her into the car.
"AND NEXT TIME I SEE YOU PIXIE, I'LL STRANGLE YOU."
The police slammed the door on Rouge as she clawed at the window. The police drove off.

~ Two days later ~

"I can't believe it, Jc! You saw the whole thing." Pixie patted his arm. Jc shrugged.
"Why were you in the neighbourhood anyway?" Pixie asked.
"I heard you were here, and I came to see you." Jc blushed.
