change hazard name

Okay so this is the suggestion thread on why we should change hazards name. I've decided to make a thread about it bc I feel like this suggestion should be taken seriously and not somewhat disregarded as a reply to a thread.

It's degrading/humiliating and it's literally the opposite of what the staff on this server preach. It's hypocritical; it's "mean bean" behavior plain and simple. No matter how much he abused his staff power or how much he was over the top, it still doesn't give brlns the right to embarrass him like this. The best thing we can do is to forgive if possible and move on since it's been about 2 years.

Yes, he did some bad things in his position and there are plenty of good reasons people have to not like him, but again, we should forgive if we can and move on. You can't fight fire with fire.

So just in code hazard's name back. We don't need the constant reminder of how he was, and hopefully, he's not like that anymore.

Y'all even censored his name when one is trying to search his name up... is that really necessary? To be fair, hazard isn't comparable to ACTUAL censored words (curse words, sexual language, etc.)

i didn't even think about this but you are TOTALLY right.
whatever he did, if he acted rude or was rude to other players, there is no need to stoop down to how rude he was and say he has no life. sure, he might have deserved it at the time, but you are definitely right. we need to let it go!
he's a human being too and he deserves the same decency anyone else can have!

Oh wow. OOOOH!! I'm so confused like. What did he do exactly because almost every discord server I'm apart of they tell me he's banned from that even though he was never even in it? And inviting him gets you banned as well.

Honestly idk him, and I'd what he did. So I have no true day on the matter. I don't know his character or him as a whole well enough to label or judge him in any way, and even if I did I still wouldn't choose to do so.

I mean if its this way then it happened for a reason and if it's truly up to Vertx (if he did it) im positive my additional support might not make a difference.

Maybe he did something on a more personal level that caused someone to do this that many other users don't even know about. Yes, I think changing the name is possibly much but again, if it happened them it was for a reason...

(Lowkey this is kinda similar to people not being allowed to have Adolf Hitlers name and stuff)

He did a lot, he abused his staff position, he was over the top, was annoying, etc. Don't really feel like getting into everything cuz it's too much and I don't feel like it lol but if you do some digging on forums, you should be able to find info. But it's gonna be hard to do some digging bc brlns wants to censor his name in the search bar... Like for whattt

If its that then im pretty sure Vertx could be trying to protect the staff and the staff reputation. Vertx wants the best for bl and if he knew Haz was going to be that way he wouldn't have chosen him. And think about it. Whenever people hear his name its associated with all the bad things he's done and that goes to his position as a staff member. And many people already hate the staff team as it is. He maybe doesn't want the staff reputation to be hurt and the staff to be attacked more as it is.

If you remove the problem then you won't have to deal with the issue. As far as I see it.

And for knew people who haven't known about him this helps as well.

Protect the staff? I doubt it, Hazard was just the odd one out, he didn't fit the bill. The other staff members are fine and no where near to what he did. Hazard is in the past and I'm almost certain he doesn't play a role the staff lives. The reason behind his name is most likely revenge or a little grudge or something like that. It's not that hard to make the assumption given that the name was implemented not long after he was banned. This was not done to protect the staff. The staff has a good reputation as far as I know and everyone knows hazard doesn't represent the staff team.

To yall this might seem super petty and childish. But there is always a purpose behind what happens.

And maybe he doesn't want Haz or Haz impersonators to come and harass the server anymore (not saying he or they will just an example)

I understand yall might be super upset with this decision but we have to look at it as a whole. Vertx knows what's he's doing. And he will not jeopardize this community out of spite or irrational feelings, and hes been around long enough so I'm pretty sure if he wanted to be petty and childish his name would have been changed to something that would upset people.

also why not ask who changed it. I'm pretty sure if it was Vertx he might not care enough to change it....I'd about Edw (no offense). Especially if it was some time after he was banned. And if he's gone why do you care? Just asking.

If he doesn't want the name is that a huge problem? Like the only reason I think it should matter is if someone is trying to use the name on an account. If not then omg don't use the name.

I think it should be okay to type his name. I believe we should be allowed to type his name. I don't think we should force anyone to change the name back or allow people to use the name if Vertx doesn't want it. Literally how long has he been gone?

Hazard is banned banned. He not coming back this some top notch ban they put on his forums account I heard. I don't think he would be able to create another forums account (not sure, but that's what I heard from a credible source). No one impersonates hazard. No one wants to. There would still be furries on the server is that's the case.

Everyone slips up and I don't think the name upsets people, it's just irrelevant and unnecessary and is someone degrading. Plus, I don't think vertx would do this? I might be wrong, but I'm leaning towards edw.

Okay but people can change their own names to degrading stupid stuff like depressed and stuff and no one talks about that? Not a single person has said anything about other people names.

And shive are you actually for real. I'm 100000000% positive no one is going to give a heck about his name being ihavenolife. Literally if you never brought this up this wouldn't even be a conversation. (And I'm not bashing or being rude im being extremely realistic.)

I've met people on Xbox, ps4, and even mobile apl games with this name. And they used it as a gamer tag. Im 1000000000000% positive people are gonna assume its a gamer tag or name. I didn't even know it was changed or meant to be funny
