IT'S BACK!
Trouble is Brewing
By the time we reached Main Street, we were all out of breath. We ducked into an alleyway. We were refueling when we witnessed Neko and Kayla mid battle with an army of Hylushas. "We have to help them! We can't just stand here!". Mittens started sprinting right into the action. "Mittens, wait!". It was no use, he couldn't hear me from where he was. "Well, what are you all waiting for?", Ben queried. "Let's help our team mates!". He followed in Mitten's footsteps. Henry shrugged at me. "They have a point".
"I don't think I can fight those things...", Emory mentioned, with a worried tone in his voice. "Then defend!"
"Well, I know how to do that!", he replied more cheerfully. We all ran as fast as lightning to the others when I saw a flash of light...
I opened my eyes. Neko was crushing up herbs. I moaned. "Thank god, you're alright! We started getting worried about you.". She smiled. She had a pretty smile, it made me feel calm. "What happened...?". I started to sit up when Neko forced me back down. "Amy, you need rest. I'm whipping you up a remedy."
"In case you're wondering, you got blasted in the back of the head. Hard." Kayla spoke. She was getting ingredients for the remedy Neko was making. I began to realise where they had brought me. They brought me... to a hut. A witch's hut to be exact...
I don't quite believe in 'witchcraft'. Yet, here I was with two supposed witches, who I barely knew by this point, might I add. It was about two weeks after I met them, after all!
"Why didn't I catch on that you're both..."
"Witches?", Kayla interrupted.
"Fun fact, you got blasted by some spell. We don't exactly what the effect was, except that it knocked it you out cold.", Neko explained.
"Which is why you're here.", Kayla finished.
"Where are the others?"
"They're fine. They went home. We insisted that we would take you to hospital, but we brought you back here instead. We're cheaper and more effective than a hospital.". Neko winked. It made me feel tingly. "Right, open up!".
I did as I was told. She poured a red substance in my mouth. I wanted to spit it out, it tasted disgusting! I coughed furiously. Suddenly, I heard the song 'Tan Fácil' by CNCO playing. I realised it was my phone. Kayla handed me it.
"Hello?"
"You feeling better? You got hit bad..." It was Henry.
"Hey, H! Yeah, I'm feeling really good now, the hospital said they can release me this evening.". I looked at Neko for confirmation, she nodded.
"Awesome to hear! We're having an official Celtic Hero gathering tonight! It's at Mitten's. Think you'll be out by then?"
"Of course!"
"Tell Neko too once you get the chance, ok?"
"What?"
"
She's the sixth hero, but don't tell Kayla."
"Alright, I'll talk to you later!"
"See you soon!"
The phone hung up. Henry always hangs up before I get to tell him that I love him. Must be a boy thing. Now I knew the true identity of my team, and I gotta say, I was looking forward to leading them. If only then I knew it was just the beginning...
