Can't use flame staff

When I am hiding I want to boost coins and exp so I tried using flame staff. But it does NOTHING! So could you fix it for all hns players?

Sometimes it will lag and not show the particle but it will still give you the points. Sometimes it is stubborn and won't shoot but it is just more lag

It still works for me that I'm using version 1.0.4 in minecraft pe.
