Can't play broken lens because of xbox live?

Hey I always liked the broken lens server but when I tried to go on today it says to disconnect from xbox live to join a server. Now I can't do that because I have to be connected or I can't play minecraft. Why is there this rule?

Dunno it either xD just disconnect it by logout from the options in MCPE and try to join again [for MC Win 10 edition well.... just wait and see xD]

If you're talking about windows 10 edition, it's because:

windows 10 was made by Microsoft = you need to sign in to Xbox account
Xbox was made by Microsoft
