Can iPod Touch's still run MCPE

so i downloaded a texture pack on my iPod Touch (its about 3yrs old) and now MC wont start! all my best worlds were on it (only got my iPhone recently) and now with the 1.0 update my sister's MC keeps crashing her. I thonk our devices are iPod Touch 5's, can they still run MCPE?

Well , the iPod RAM is terrible , and the updates getting rushed are really not helping. Me myself I find it really difficult even impossible to play on MC with an iPod now , especially with 1.0 . Oh and , the texture packs make you crash 1/2 times when you install them , and once you crashed with them , you have to reinstall MCPE , sorry.
