i logged onto the server for the first time and tried to register my account and it said i have to login, the account name is "VIPRank"

The account ‘VIPRank’ is already registered- which is why you couldn’t register it again and why it asked you to login. Maybe try putting an underscore behind it, like ‘VIPRank_’, that username is still free
