I’m sceptical of anyone who’s trying to befriend me anyways. It’s not as hard as you’d think to tell who actually wants to be friends because of you and who wants to be friends just because you’re staff (for me at least)
Some goes for pretending to be nice.

Anyways, if we believe that you are the best person for the position (personal bias aside), you will be chosen.
