- your sis has 4 siblings (which includes you and your brother) so let’s minus 2, it equals 2 other siblings
- your bro has 3 siblings (which includes you and your sister) so minus 2 equals 1 other sibling
(I’m not counting your sis, bro and yourself on these ones ^)

- you have 2 siblings (which includes your sissy and bro) so plus 3
=> 2+1+3=6

Your 2 siblings are 'My sister' which has 4 other siblings, and 'My brother' which has 3 other siblings..

Your sister must have '2 other siblings' because 3rd and 4th one must be 'yourself' and your 'brother'
Your brother must have '1 other sibling' because the 2nd and 3rd must be you and your 'sister'

This is not as confusing as you think it is.
'Other' being the key word, I think
it really is 12.

Say it is you who has that many siblings, lets make 'S' just so it's visually clean.
Your sister has 4 other S , (So it's 4S other than her.)
your brother has 3 other S (Other means another batch of S)
and you have 2 other S. (Same as the one above.)

So if you add those together, it's like
5S and 4S and 3S. (But in your standards, you have 11 siblings, just 12 children.)

Just to be clear, siblings are ONLY brothers and sisters, including by-law ones. The english is what matters, not the half siblings. Don't be confused...

For how this question works, two parents have a child, the parents get divorced, both parents have more children with different partners, all of which are siblings to the first child, but one parent's child is not siblings with the other parents child. (I know it's a little confusing buttttt idk)

On my sisters side she’s the 2nd oldest (first one was adopted after they divorced) after my dad and my sisters mom had her they divorced her mom found another dude and has 1more child (I wouldn’t be related to them bc neither of them are my parents) (but they are related to my sister bc her mom is in that marriage) hope this makes sense (yeah nothing makes sense when it comes out of my mouth)

Edit: Alright 3 ppl got it right and a lot of ppl got my age right?? (Stop stalking me! jk) So basically my family thing is really confusing. My Dad is also my sisters dad, but he’s a step dad to my brother. My mom is also my brothers mom, but a step mom to my sister. What that really means is My Dad was married to my sisters mom, but they divorced. Same thing happened, My Mom was married to my brothers dad, but they divorced. Then my mom and Dad found each other and made me (ok Ashley know one needs to know that ew) So my siblings stayed with my parents. (This is probably even more confusing xD)

Total of 9 siblings
The sister and bro are your siblings, and they have 4 and 3 sibs respectively
