I've been playing splatter for quite a while, a few months after it came out was when I really started playing, mainly for the large amounts of EXP it gave
It isn't my goal to be on the leaderboard, or the best player in every match, but I can't help but wonder how some of you surpass the score of 1,800 to even heckin above 2,200. (liKE whAT?)
I can consistently score 1,500 to 1,600. If it's a lucky match, and maybe aren't as many people or if there are they aren't too experienced I can get up to 1,800.
I'm happy with my score, it gets the EXP amount I like ect. I'm just genuinely curious how people can get that score, especially consistently.

*I understand teammates, opponents, and the map greatly effect our scores*
I wanna know your sheekretz (secrets)

Use the bow on most maps, some maps it is okay to use the shovel on, so on those maps I would use the bow mostly and the shovel here and there, if that makes sense

Try to move quickly

Don't splatter small areas, go for the big areas and then focus on smaller areas. Big areas=more percentage of turf your team gets

Be familiar with the maps you are playing with (this goes in hand with the tip above) so you know what areas would be useful to splatter and such.

When using the bow, make sure you stretch the bow far and wide (useful advice from @soap )

Don't be afraid to get greedy and selfish for splattering the turf, YOU want to splatter turf and get more points, not your teammates. Get in there and cut them off

Make sure split controls are on and you have 98-100 fov and around 40-50 sensitivity, this should help with settings

Also try to splat turf already covered by the other team, I’ve beaten people better than me by doing that
