So I went onto The Best Builders because I wanted to build and face off other people. I got in and the game was filled with like 22-23 people. When the game started, the topic was: China. What many of you might not know is that I’m half Chinese.
I thought people were gonna put ramen (that’s Japanese) or like Kung fu stuff, so I didn’t think much about it. I built the country of China with the flag in it. I didn’t think too much about what people were gonna build until right before voting started.
First person built the Chinese flag, which was fine. The second person also built a flag, but next to it was a person wearing a mask... That wasn’t as bad as all of the rest of them.
Around 15-18 of them built viruses to represent the coronavirus due to the Wuhan Coronavirus outbreak that causes Covid-19 (Covid is short for coronavirus, 19=2019). I’ve already suffered enough with people avoiding me because of my race and people making jokes about the Chinese and the Covid pandemic, but this just hit me hard. I honestly wanted to cry. I never knew that this many people associated China with disease. No one seemed to be very ashamed either. Some people voted “Okay” or even “Good” on the virus builds (Terrible For the people who found it racist (like 2 including me) and for the people who just always vote terrible). I did manage to win, but the 2 runner ups were the virus builders, and they weren’t too far behind me.
Building stuff like this or making memes or statements about this is not funny. It’s offensive to possibly more than a billion people in the world. It’s inappropriate. Your little thing you made about stuff like this will make one laugh but will ruin many others’ days.
I know that the first amendment states that everyone has the freedom of speech, but his is just way too much. People really need to stop being racist. This sounds super cliche, but this is a very bad thing that has been going on for so long. Racism caused the death of George Floyd and so many other people. People in the state/province I live have been shot by GUNS because of the pandemic and their race. Even some racist slurs have been thrown around. I’m glad we’ve gotten somewhere for the racism, but I’m suprised how NOT far we have gotten to stop it.
I don’t care if this thread gets locked or deleted. And please, don’t try to comfort me in the comments, it’s not gonna work. You can still reply if you want.

I knew when I read the first paragraph this would go down, I wish people where more self aware of what they say or do sometimes.
