With every new update there’s always gonna be lag spikes and bugs that sometimes cant be fixed. Maybe you could find a fps texture pack and it could help boost your fps.

It’s just because it’s a big server and it’s laggy. If you go away from spawn or look away from spawn, it usually helps get your fps back up

Hey there, so as jayyter said in the end, you could try and find a texture pack that gives you a fps boost, i'll get into later. As soon as you spawn, get away from it (cause it's mostly crowded) but if you can't, try going on an other mini-game using the orange dye. I won't promote anything but you can search up some texture packs/clients that give you an fps boost. Make sure your texture pack/client is safe though and doesn't give you a big advantage (what I meant is like, having an fps boost helps you stand out against other players , BUT i'm pretty sure it doesn't break the rules so yeah) against other players.
