I constantly had problems with this map, probably because of the version I play. Most of the blocks are not there, and not only on this map does this happen. Many maps that have this type of block missing due to the version, it is much easier to be bugged, because the blocks simply do not appear for all.
Unfortunately I don't remember the name of that map, but I think you should know from the image :)

sorry if I have any errors, I'm using google translator

This is my map- I don’t know what version you play on but this is what the map looks like every time I have played on it:

Sometimes for older versions newer blocks or random blocks turn invisible and act like a barrier block. Unique new shaped blocks like signs or torches or lanterns also turn into a full invisible block.

Well, the server is from version 1.8 up to the latest (if I'm not mistaken), maybe just allowing newer versions, would solve the problem (I think), or else, replace the blocks, so that players from older versions don't have so many problems ;)

do you know in which version these blocks were added? couldn't replace them? by wool or clay?
Every time there is an update all the new blocks are added but the server can be played by players who are 1.2 and up (I believe) so there are many players playing on older versions who can't see the maps the way they are meant to be seen- for example all the nether blocks from the nether update are on the server/able to be used but I don't use them because I know there are a lot of players who didn't do that update- but anything older than that I use - unfortunately for the non-updated players we can't limit ourselves to just the really old blocks or the maps would be boring for updated players :(

I understand, I hope you can find a solution for this later :(
