I remember when I was toxic during those days. I got banned permanently or temporarily and never came to see the light until Spring 2017. I agree with you because from what I remember, no was an O.D.E.R (Online Dater) back then. Hacking was very limited. I was the only toxic person from what I knew. Spamming wasn't even there. But I think people reply to old messages because they are unaware it's old but now that I think about it, I see your point.

I can theorize what happened to cause BL to look stupid.
Popularity. Popularity because if something is popular, it can attract many audiences.

That quote also means in server sense,
"Can attract ODERS, rule breakers, toxic communities, etc."

God I'm gonna tear a bit. I miss the old Bl. Everyone mostly focused on playing with friends, I didn't even know about the ldb at that time. When I saw the statues, I thought they were just designs. Yes, the server did change alot, but change isn't always good. Yes, alot of rule breakers, toxic brats, kids focus on school not your lovelife saying "I love you" "Ily2 baby", but we can't do anything but we could just beg and kneel to vertx tho just accept society. Just like Jay said, we don't have a flippin time machine. Just hoping that the server will be fun like 2016 memories. Vertx, if you see this message, hai
