BrokenLens Rules
On BrokenLens we want everyone to have the best experience possible. However, there are some rules an limitations that the staff team have made to help keep everything fair for everyone. An updated set of server rules is listed below, but isn't limited to only the things listed. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions please feel free to leave them in the comments below.
Chat
Offense > Punishment > Example
Advertising* > Permanent Ban > Advertising an IP address of another server
Inappropriate Links > 1-3 Day Temp-Mute > Links containing Porn, Racial/ Religious Content, Ect.
Spamming > 1-3 Day Temp-mute > Spamming Chat/ Private Messages
TPA Spamming > 1-3 Day Temp-ban > Spamming Teleport Requests on Survival
Excessive Inappropriate Language > 1-3 Day Temp-mute > Excessive crude language towards other in chat or messages
Offensive Username*** > 30 Day Ban > Having a username directly offending another user or staff member.
Impersonating Staff Members > Kick as warning, One Day Temp-mute if continued > Impersonation of staff members in chat or messages
Religious/ Racial Disputes** > One Day Temp-mute > Disputes involving Religious/ Racial arguments
Fake Messages > One Day Temp-mute > Fake chat messages
Abusing Players or Staff > 1-3 Day Temp-mute > Excessive abuse of another player
*Advertising- You may advertise your YouTube video, Twitch stream, Image, ect as long as it contains content related to BrokenLens. Any content shared containing content related to another server will result in a permanent ban.
**Religious/ Racial Disputes- This also includes any other arguments/ disputes in chat that staff members deem worthy of punishment.
***Offensive Username- Having a username directly offensive to another user or staff member. You will be banned from the server for 30 days, and can be unbanned if you change the username, and can be instantly unbanned after it's changed via an appeal.

Scamming* > Seven day Temp-ban > Verbally or Non-Verbally scamming for items, In-Game money, coins, ect...
Hacking > Permanent Ban >Hacks of any kind, donator or Non-Donator, VIP or non VIP.
Illegal Client Mods > Seven Day Temp-ban > Any Unapproved Mods, (texture is allowed)
Grinding > Seven Day Temp-ban > Using alt accts. to gain kills
statsGriefing* > Seven Day Temp-ban > Griefing plots, Maps, ect.
Deathtrap* > Seven Day Temp-ban > Any trap build to kill/ loot players
Block Glitching > Two Day Temp-ban > Only if done so to give yourself an advantage in game-play
Exploiting of a Glitch** > Seven Day Temp-ban > Abusing any server/minecraft glitch to gain for theirself
Obstruction of Server > Kick as Warning, Temp-ban One Day if Continued Purposely blocking operation of the server in any way
*These punishments are all exempt on the the Faction server. You will NOT be punished for these rules.
**Exploiting of a Glitch- Depending on the severity of the glitch abused, the punishment may be longer, or even permanent.

Ban Evading > Banned According To Previous Bans > Excessive accounts banned at the same time
Excessive Bans > Permanent Ban > Five bans of a legitimate reason
Abuse of your Donator/VIP Rank > Depends on the situation > Using your donator permissions/abilities to harm the server or players
