Minecraft is constantly updating and i'm sure everybody wants a piece of cake of that. Since there are no stained glass, banners, fireworks and other stuff before 1.2.0 it would be sad if a server stayed on that version forever, wouldn't it?
Problems are that [1] the amount of lag being produced, [2] the amount of players decreasing and [3] the unbelievable slow settings, starting up, connections e.c.t
[1] Even with barely any players, particles, fast internet or even chunks, lag happens everytime.
[2] Lots of players that play mcpe are usually the ones that use profiles. Since it has been patched up and (I think) it is against the rules, they can't play the newer versions anymore. They're just stuck with one piece of game. Also, many people don't have xbox live accounts or can't create one themselves.
[3] Settings takes less time to open (good) but it still takes so long for mimecraft pe to start up. Unfortunately, the chat, inventory, gui and settings have become so complicated that it might take weeks for someone to get used to the controls.
So have a good day and wave goodbye to the new islanders as you set to sea in search for land. (Does not include players that have 1.2.0 and xboxlive accounts.)
