Brokenlens has some problems

Remember this is my OPINION​

So I have some criticism of this server. I want to start out by saying I don't think Brokenlens is a terrible server. It has one of the best builder team of any server, lots of good minigames, and a strong community. However, there are many things the server needs to improve on.

One of the best parts of this server is that it has a bunch of unique minigames that are not found on many others. Unfortunately most of them are dead. Most of them have grown rather repetitive. The lack of updates on smaller minigames make it hard for them to compete with the bigger ones like skywars and mobwars(bedwars). I recognize this is mostly out of staffs hands, but I do think the lack of updates on the minigames is hurting the server overall.

I have noticed that Brokenlens is also more laggy than some other servers I play on. Now I don't know what causes the lag or how to fix it, but it is there. When I do /ping it usually says good yet things don't load, commands are slow, players stop moving on my screen, and games are unplayable. Of course some/most of it is on my slower internet, but on most other servers I don't have this many issues with.

I usually just scroll through the forums, not commenting or posting. I will admit I am not as active as some people, but sometimes it feels like that people get overly defensive and stifle any attempts to discuss changes. We can pretend that the server is perfect, but that would lead to legit problems being overlooked just to keep status quo.

I think this server has the capability to become the best server in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.

Ngl, The server is laggy. But, It isn't that bad. About the lack of updates it's kinda true, I'm just imagining how great it would be if the games would be updated.

And also, Luckily. The hackers has been a bit dying, Which is great. BrokenLens has potential to be the best Bedrock server, It just lacks somethings.

About the games that are dead, There are some exp events that make it alive. Surely it's just an amount of time, Even if the game is alive it's full of ranked players which does make it frustrating for us android/phone players.

I'm also not saying it's a bad server but, It needs some really huge update that's gonna change the whole server. Example: Lag reduces, Weekly exp events and just somethings that needs improvement.

I really love the creativity onto the games, Like KK, MW and SPLT. but, There's much more, The only problem onto the server is the lag and the dead games.

I'm hoping that the lag would reduce a bit and even the legendary games that are dead should also be alive, It'll be so huge onto the community itself if this somehow works out.

I'm very sorry if it somehow came out rude, I did not mean to do it. This is also just my opinion, And I do agree onto what you said^^

Agreed but the lag I believe depends on your wifi and or the place where you live :3 Some do get defensive yes but that's just how some of us are. It shows how hmm whats a good word? Loyal I guess, it shows how loyal they are to the server. I agree with some of the stuff you are saying though :x3: Some games are dead but staff/vertx do everything to try and get people to play them. Also thank you for putting this in a nice way hopefully people won't be mad qwq

From what I know vertx does everything himself, so updates are always going to be slow unfortunately. Probably the best way to get more players is for brokenlens to become a featured server but tbh idk how hard that is to go about doing.

personally i dont have any problems with lag but i know some people do, it might be where you live im not sure B) but i do agree that the server should have more people playing dead games too, they have sooo much potential, there could be an update that adds a few things to mini games that make them more appealing for players to play :laugh:
