Chapter 2 - The Signal
The next morning.
I woke up in my bed, brushed my teeth, changed my clothes and head off to work. When I came, I heard the boss was screaming my name:
- “MATTY! Come to my office immediately!”
I ran in. It was a good atmosphere, I was nervous because it’s my first day of work. He handed me papers to sign in, spoke:
- “This is your first thing to do of the day. If you finished it early, you’ll get some breaks sooner than everyone since this is your first day.”
I nodded in a friend way. I looked at his badge and his name was Mr. Dybrand Avilosa, weird last name. I brought all of the papers to my desk and start to do the work.
While I was working half way through, I heard a bang in Mr. Dybrand’s office, I walked in, saw a huge wall on the wall with big cracks. When I looked down, I saw a giant monster kidnapping him. I gasped in fear, gathered everyone around and contacted the police.
The giant monster turned into a fly and flew away, over the clouds and into another dimension.
A green signal shows up, which I think indicates they went away with Mr. Dybrand in their hands.
Later that night, I drove home. I told the story to Swirl and my neighbors, everyone was shook. Everywhere is flooded with the news about Mr. Dybrand got kidnapped.
Morning...
The sky was pitch gray, clouds gather around, summoning a hurricane kind-of, but it doesn’t rain. When everyone started looking at the sky, a purple beam appeared. Everyone was panicking of what’s gonna happen next, some people think it’s the comeback of the monsters but it’s not what they think, it’s something else.
