Staff members (Admins, Mods, Trials, and Helpers) on the BrokenLens Discord are not as active as they should be, so I had an idea! Instead of pinging a staff member, BrokenLens Helpers are there to help you. BrokenLens Helpers will be able to ban or kick a suspicious member or someone who decides to break the rules, and they’ll take care of the BrokenLens Discord Server. Also, they can take care of reports! If no one is there to make a report for the user, the BrokenLens Helpers will help them ban the player on time by making the report for them! But most importantly, the BrokenLens Helpers are going to take care of the Discord server.

I respectfully disagree

Admins, Mods, Trials, and Helpers are actually quite active on discord and complete all of the reports "oN tImE" . I'll say this as respectfully as possible but you don't get to decide how active we should be when all the work you are complaining about gets done behind the scenes very efficiently.

Many members in the BrokenLens Discord.. well some.. they prefer to use discord rather going on to the forums to report a player. Some of the members there don’t get budged

Helpers shouldn't be given a lot of important perms and they should not be able to have control of the discord server, its a big responsibility. Helper is only the first stage and you should earn it. Plus they don't handle reports because that's the higher staff's job…(I believe) Maybe I read your suggestion wrong because I lost a few brain cells reading it xD I understand where you're coming from but if someone gets helper and they have all these permissions then they could do something bad and irreversible. It's nice that you are trying to contribute to the server

Which is why an Admin/Global Moderator like @ssunsett , @edwjusti , or @_PineappleDeath_ should choose/pick wisely on who should be a BrokenLens Helper. The name BrokenLens Helper may sound confusing but we can change the name to BrokenLens Discord Helper. Edwjusti or whoever controls the discord server can make a new role. I honestly believe that @B3N would be a great BrokenLens Discord Helper, if it becomes a thing.

On the part where I said, “ They can take care of reports!”, It means, whenever someone sends a screenshot of a hacker or someone that is breaking the rules in general, the BrokenLens Discord Helpers can make the report for them on the forums since the staff team gets notified.

I disagree with this idea, for starters it’s not necessary at all. we have a report section and tags for a reason, if people don’t ping us and say to spectate somebody it’s not our fault we don’t notice, there’s so many chats there that are constantly spammed we simply cannot keep up with all them (regardless of how many staff there is.) the actual helpers & trials barely have access to many perms on discord, much less random people. I’m pretty sure helpers can’t even kick people off the discord, I forgot about trials but they’re very limited as well.

We also all get notified on discord whenever someone sends in a new report. Also most of the staff just keep their online status off on discord, me as well for example, I’m on everyday regardless.
