I have to say, I had some amazing times 2016-2018 in this wonderful community, and I can’t help but reminisce on the beautiful moments in this community I had even up to this date. I joined BrokenLens November 6th of 2016 (server), I played every game but out of all of them.. one stood out the most. Quakecraft really made me love this community and got me hooked, it’s people were amazing, the entire community there was amazing. Starting out I always tried making new friends, even got cursed at by Manwee for killing him in OITC... LOL. But enough of that, My first friend on BrokenLens was @MariaStFTW, this amazing and beautiful individual was the main reason I got hooked onto BrokenLens, with out her... I don’t think I would’ve EVER stayed in this community, she made me open my eyes to a bigger view of this community. Later on I got introduced to a few other friends including @mittyball and @MrSomeonee, what can I say, heck these are some amazing individuals as well! Even though at the end we got into a few arguments and one thing let to an other, I am still grateful for life to have introduced me to these fine gentlemen. As we go further, an other person came into my BrokenLens life which was @Springtrap_123, the first ever admin I met, if it wasn’t for him, I don’t think I would’ve EVER been considered on joining the staff team (but we will save the staff team for later on) I remember I used to always bug him in /grm, be a detective with him, investigate hackers together! Partners in law! Really amazing times, even though he left this community, I never got to say my goodbyes to him, I just WISH I had the chance to. I joined the forums on Jan 17, 2017, because Maria told me to join along with meatballs (Mitty) i remember the first person to EVER greet me on the forums was @Pixel, this beautiful soul really shaped the forums, may you Rest In Peace Angel, you will always be in our hearts <3. I always dreamt of playing a part in this community, playing in it for those months really made me want to be someone here, made me want to make it better! And help out in something which was truly bigger than myself,
So I remember I asked @Ray_Palmer_Atom about becoming a staff member lol, let’s just say I was a little try hard xD
In fact I’ll show you my application! The application which got me into the staff team!
On April 27th 2017, I wake up to see my promotion to helper! I woke up to see over 170 notifications, so I was confused onto why I had so many at the time I was the least known person in this community LOL, until I realized all the notifications said “congratulations Kylie” and then I saw my profile tag. I was in shock, it meant so much to me. The day passed, and I was still in shock even a week later, so the months passed, I never met @vertx, until 2 months after I got promoted lol. Until I did, I met one of the chillest people I’ve met here, he is a cool owner literally. I remember I would always annoy him, start a new convo every week. LETS NOT FORGET @DarkTdmPlays, this guy is amazing! He would always push me, motivate me, he was an amazing friend! This guy has one of the kindest hearts you’ll ever see! Months passed, then I finally met Edw, I met him before I was helper, but he didn’t like me very much LOL @edwjusti, I would always annoy him about me becoming staff. Edw is a really really chill guy, along with Ssun. Ssun is one of the sweetest personalities you’ll meet on this community. Months passed, I started getting really depressed and anxious about never being promoted to trial, seeing everyone progress but me, got to me. But in the end it all worked out for me
after a while, I had the amazing idea of creating a build team for BrokenLens, I realized I was really good at building, so I suggested the idea to Vertx, along with showing him my past builds, took a couple of months before the build team idea would come into place, but it finally did! I got /setrank builder, and I started recruiting people with an old application form on google docs. Some of the original builders are still on the team even up to this date! I still remember viper faking to be an other person. Because he thought I wouldn’t recruit him xD turns out, viper is an amazing builder! I always expected him to just be a pvp brute. (Never judge a book by its cover) he applied as pretending to be an other person, and well I accepted her/him, his/her builds were amazing. Months went in, I recruited many builders, along with diavent! I made her co captain, because she is literally one of the most hardworking builders I had met at the time! Oh yea! I forgot to show my first map ever built on brokenlens! Guess what, it was a Christmas map. I spent 1 whole day working on this map, lol literally one whole day, at this time the build server didn’t have that much advanced world Edit tools, so I had to build everything one by one, it was for microbattles, and it turned out decent, now I look at it and don’t really think it’s a good map, but lol it’s nice seeing how much I improved over time. Time passed, I joined the discord community, I made a community discord, which was great for a couple of months, until I had the amazing idea of turning it into “coffee chat” LOL which was a complete failure. So that discord got deleted, and welp. An other discord was created by diavent and ender xD, I joined it. And well that ends that. (I don’t want to bring up the drama between hazard and I, him and I are cool now, I want to leave the past in the past) and welp that it’s!
I had a lot of amazing accomplishments,
