A Day Later…
“Breaking News: The sweet uninhabited islands of Litern has been Vaporized! Marking the 6th destroyed sector of our once peaceful Realm! King Voc had took charge to increase numbers for our Dimensional Guardians from 6 to 10! In other news, a desert dwelling engineer, Alex Ray was revealed to be possessed by his younger *ahem* “dead” brother, Jake… as well as the well talented engineer Alex had also went missing! So the question is, where does a Desert Dwelling Engineer go?” My TV said. “Pfft, Home. Where else would I go?” I said to myself. “Hey Alex, did you really pay attention to what the news had said? They are recruiting!” Brock shouted to me as I gave out a sigh. “I don’t know, when they do see me they’ll get confused and tied up. But I guess you are right, I think it wouldn't hurt to chase after my dream.” I said. “Well go get em kid, show them what you’re made of!” Brock replied as I nodded and headed over to my shuttle.
“Alex had a dream of becoming a dimensional guardian since he was 6?” Rainbow asked Jake. “Yeah, he was a year older than me as well, and I died at the age of 7, because someone was going to shoot Alex, but I took the hit for him. I then took his body to work on a ritual to bring me back to life but… he didn’t like the idea of magic.” Jake responded. “Sounds like you’re family has a lot of holes to patch up.” I added. “Yeah about that Matt… we never had seen our parents. We are Orphans.” Jake replied. “Guess I was right then.” I said to myself. “Hey… isn’t that?” Lauren asked as she looked into the crowd. “Oh, no… it was someone who looked like him.” Lauren said as we spotted a shuttle fly ten feet above us. The shuttle then landed as the hatch opened to reveal the pilot… it was Alex.
