Chapter 14: Beyond Repair
“Breaking News: It is a sad day for us all, the lovely Kijila Sector was destroyed by Tennat Mergan. While we have noticed a recent absence in the Dimensional Guardians, as we see Alex went missing. So we only have this to ask, did we trust the wrong Tennonite?” The reporter said as I dumped everything that had Adam’s face into the trash, depressed I saw a photo… of me, as a little kid, and seeing Adam. I sighed and continued, put the photo in my back pocket and sat down, I heard Brock using a machine to get up to my room. “Hey uh, Alex. You’re suit had been beeping a lot lately. Voices saying to come back, it’s starting to get me worried about you. “Eh, I’ll turn it off when I am done. Because right now, something had gotten off course.” I replied. “Oh, and someone is here to see you.” Brock added, as he elevated down, I then used my grapple shot to repel down, to see Phoebe. I forgotten about how she looked, the looks of an everyday, but the tail and ears of a fox. Why do I forget that people out there look like this? “I heard about the destruction. I even saw the shuttle crash land. Are you ok?” Phoebe asked me. “I have no clue, just the thought that I could have disabled the system right there in front of me… and I just didn’t know what to do.” I answered. “Hey, don’t be down. Everyone got out alive, no one was killed or injured during the evacuation.” Phoebe added. “Yeah but, Rainbow, Strelitzia and Viper lost their homes, including the millions of inhabitants!” I said with a pained face. “I am sure it wasn’t a complete disaster.” Before Phoebe finished her thought, the TV roared. “Civilians called it a complete and utter disaster!” One of the reporters said as Brock turned down the volume. “Sorry!” Brock yelled. “Well, I am sure of something, because heroes don’t do big things to become big heros, heroes do the right thing. They learn from their mistakes and try again, even if the weight of the world is on their shoulders.” Phoebe added as I nodded. Then the whole place had started to shake. “EARTHQUAKE!!” Brock yelled as we both ducked for cover. “What is that!?” I asked. “Oh, I brought you some friends.” Phoebe said as we saw one of the Guardian’s Freighters fly near us, then stopped for landing. We then saw Lauria, Brax, Milton, Leona and the rest of the gang come out. “Ok, we should have enough home alone time for now. Let’s get you back in the fight!” Lauria said.
“I am sorry I didn’t come back, I just felt guilty.” I said. “Well, we also know about Adam, and we scanned the sector for someone. You know this guy named Joey right?” Matt asked. “Yeah, the Kangaroo Tamer, and one of the most toughest people alive.” I answered. “Well, I told him about you. He seems interested. That and we found out what’s next on Tenant's hitlist, and has also attempted to attack Phoebe's home world, but luckily the “Princess” made it out here alive and told us where you were.” Brax said. “Yeah, I know. I kept it a secret, I get it, I am a princess but it doesn't mean I don’t have control over who I should be friends with.” Phoebe said as I nodded. “So, what’s next?” I asked. “Someone talked Tennat into destroying the Vicla Sector, but get this. It’s islands contain Uritanium, and by destroying that, it’ll cause a chain reaction and destroy other sectors.” Jake said displaying a hologram. “And by the 20th of August, that’s when the Islands align… and if we don’t act fast.” I said, passing it on to someone else. “It’ll be the last time we’ll live in the Dimension.” Matt said.
NOTE--
So that quote, "it doesn't mean I don't have control over who I should be friends with." is a little life lesson for you guys, just because you have a rank or title shouldn't hold you back from becoming friends with people. ALSO I am ill, so I maybe a bit slow on Shattered Dimensions and since it's coming to an end to.
But thank you all for supporting this fun project and making this an Iconic Story. I wouldn't have done it without you guys
