“So how are we getting into Nennat Industries? We can’t just plummet into our death without something to slow us down with!” Leona said.”She has a point.” I added. “I have a plan, we drop into the Cervix Sector, knock on Nennat’s front door, destroy everything in our path and get home back in time for waffles!” Adam said as I gave a look of confusion, some of the team agreed, me and Rainbow were both giving the “Are you serious right now?” face. “Well it is an assault, I’ll get Jetpacks prepared on the way there, and Jake… I may need you for a sec.” I said. “I hope you know what you are doing Alex.” Jake said. “Oh come on you two, big heroes do big things!” Adam said winking at me and I nodded.
“Ok, don’t get me wrong Alex, but I think this is rather… embarrassing.” Jake said. “Oh come on, this way you can keep up.” I said shaking him around on my back. “This is the only way you two can get around, Alex had to give up most of his jetpacks for the Guardian's.” Leona said fixing Jake. “Also, you’re jetpack is powered by Alex’s suit, so don’t try any solo flights.” Leona added as we both laughed. “I’ll keep that in mind.” Jake said. “Heh, guess this is what he gets for possessing you eh?” Matt joked as we met up in the central hub of the freighter. “You’re brother can be a backpack to? Heh, I guess the more you know.” Rainbow said as we both laughed. “Alright team, prepare for diving on 3-” Adam said as we all were dropped, I was slowly losing my cool. “3!” Adam said as he flew off. I then activated my Jetpack that was stored in Jake. Me and him were having fun, passing by Lauren, Brax, Lauria, Matt, Rainbow and Adam… I think Adam was a bit jealous, but truth is, we were dizzy after all that. “Whoa, haha! Let’s do it again!” I said as I landed on a balcony. “That was pretty fun, got to admit.” Jake added. “Hey guys, I landed on the West Balcony. Let’s split up to cover more ground.” I said into my comm-link. “Copy-that Alex, but I am coming in with you.” Matt said as he rolled his way to me. “Come on, we got a industry to storm.” Matt said punching me in the shoulder lightly, followed by Brax.
“I don’t like the looks of this place, it’s giving me the creeps.” Rainbow said. “You’re not the only one, it’s too quiet. Hey, Brax, you have a motion scanner on that helmet?” I asked. “Sure do, engaging motion scanner now.” Brax said. “Guys, are you seeing this?” Lauria said. “Yeah, this is way to strange, I am getting something on my radar.” Brax said as I heard something nearby. “Jake, how much till we get to that terminal?” I asked. “We should be close, we just need to take a left.” Jake said. “That’s some good news.” Matt said. “Finally, heh heh.” Braz added. “Hey, have any of you guys seen Adam anywhere?” Rainbow asked.
“They are here, time to initiate phase one. I think we should scatter our cockroaches.” I said.
“Now I am getting a lot of movement now, I think it must be-” Brax said before his sentence was cut off by what we saw. “YO HOO!! WATCHER IS HERE TO KILL YOU!” One out of the thousand watchers said. “Oh boy.” I said. Me, Matt, and Brax were running for our lives firing our revolvers back at the Watchers. “What are those things!?” I yelled. “Watchers! They protect whoever deploys them!” Brax answered as we got to the terminal. “Heads up!!” I yelled as Matt dodged out of the way and shot the door controls. “Nice shot.” Brax said. “Eh, getting used to this thing now. But man those things are violent! Who would give a child one of those things?” I said as the crew laughed, Jake hopped off my back and went to the terminal. “I think I know what Nennat is planning, he doesn't just own a company… he works for the Life Empire!” Jake said. “No way, that can’t be.” Brax said as Jake kept looking. “It looks like they are not just destroying Sectors, they are creating a sector! With this at hand… it could mean that he needs to destroy one more sector… and that sector is the Kijila Sector!” Jake said as my eyes grew large. “We need to move!” I said as we all teleported out of the polluted sector and onto the Shard Freighter. “Adam, come in. We got what we need, we are waiting for you.” Matt said.
“Copy-that recruit. I will meet you there after I am gone mono-eh-mono with this menace.” Adam replied, I can hear him pull up to me quietly. He then loaded his revolver and pointed. “Don’t move-” Adam said as Vex cut his revolver in half. “I’am listening.” Adam said. “Well, well, well. If it isn’t Captain Adam himself, I thought you were a bit smaller.” I said. “Well, that’s just who I am… before that Dune Rat cut me off and became all famous.” Adam replied. “I can see that, we know about that problem. You see, the deal here is that he planned to save Mirath City more better than you could.” I said. “He, did?” Adam asked. “To what I see, you are being the victim here, that… whatever he is, was trying to get you out of the picture, you want to still be in the picture do you?”
