I watched as Strel got out her enderpearl and threw it at mid. It landed perfectly in the center, and after she had teleported Fheo followed suit. Kiwi aimed, but I had played enough SkyWars to know that she would miss. Her hand was wayyy too tilted to the side.
As I expected, she hit the side of a tree and started falling down… but I couldn’t let that happen. I flew downwards in a dive - and to my surprise I caught Kiwi before she fell all the way down the void.
Shock filled her eyes, mixed with relief, "Arya!"
"Wait, you can see me?"
“Yeah!” Kiwi said, “Though you’re kinda flickering a little. I can also see other spectators!” She waved to someone behind me, “Look! There’s Cap!”
I turned, and sure enough, Cap was there. “Hey Cap!” I yelled, “Go find Queenie! We need to get out of here!”
Cap slightly paled, but without objection went to find Queenie.
I set Kiwi down on the ground at mid, where Strel hug-tackled her, “YAY KIWI! YOU AREN’T DEAD!”
Cap soon returned with Queenie. The ground shook again, and Kiwi almost fell and lost her balance. The weird goop from the Portal had already devoured the 12 surrounding islands, and more was dripping to the sky.
“Don’t let it touch you!” Fheo shouted, “It makes you take damage!”
“We have to leave,” Kiwi said, “No matter what happened in the past with Neon.”
My heart turned. I missed Neon. She was always so nice and enthusiastic. I brushed the thoughts away and said, “Yeah, Kiwi’s right! We’ll die if we stay here.”
“I agree,” Queenie whispered. She shifted her head to look at the side, as if embarrassed by the attention.
“NO WAY!” Cap said, “What if one of us dies? I can’t have that!”
“I’m with Cap,” Fheo frowned slightly.
“GUYS DO YOU SEE WHAT’S HAPPENING?” Strel yelled, “THE PORTAL. IS. DESTROYING. SKYWARS. WE’LL ALL DIE!” she paused, letting the words sink in, then said, “We have to at least try.”
Cap stole a glance at Fheo, then sighed, “Fiine. If everyone else is in, I’m in too!”
Fheo said nothing, but he didn’t object so... I guess that was a yes?
“I’ll make the hole,” I said. No one said anything, so I concentrated on the air near me and focused on opening up the air into a “portal” into the Portal.
I could feel some of my strength being sapped, but I held the hole open and motioned for everyone to take my hand. Soon we were in a chain. Cap, who was at the front went in first, then Kiwi, Fheo, Strel, and Queenie. I was last.
The ground trembled, and the hole closed up a little, “Hurry!” I cried.
The goop was dripping, enough to cover the whole island. It was dangerously close to my head. Finally, Queenie jump through and I jumped after her.
The hole I made closed and darkness closed my eyes.

The figure staggered, one of its hands clenched in a fist.
"SkyWars has fallen. It won't be long now..."
