For a second, everything was just DARK.
Then, suddenly I could see.
It literally looked like the universe and barfed out all its insides and we now had a 5-star view of them. It was a mess of purple/blue/black/green that was always in some sort of motion. This weird "current" kept dragging at us, and there was this weird kind of ROAR that filled the entire place.
"WELCOME TO THE PORTAL!" Hermy yelled over the roaring noise.
"IT’S... NICE," Kiwi replied.
"TRY NOT TO GET DRAGGED AWAY BY THE WIND," Hermy shouted.
After she said that, there was a sudden gust of wind that basically knocked me off my feet. Hermy pulled me up and started walking. I saw glimpses of the world outside the portal. There was this one guy who was running, and the blocks under his feet (sand and gravel I believe?) disappeared when he walked over them. Then, the scene quickly evaporated and I saw a girl with lots of blocks building some sort of animal.
Wow these games must be reaaaally weird... I thought, Welp, at least more interesting than HS…
We then arrived at a really big "hole" in the portal, and I could clearly see a bunch of people on little islands. There were bridges built there, and some of the people were crossing the bridges. There were 12 players total, and they all had these weird auras. Three people had yellow-ish auras and 3 others had blue-ish ones. Another 3 had green-ish ones and the last three had red-ish ones.
Oh yeah.
I kiiinda forgot to mention "auras"...
Basically, no one has auras except Legends, Ranked players, and… that’s it. At least I thought that was it because obviously these people had different auras. Legends had a silver-y aura that got brighter if you were good at a game. (For some reason mine was brighter than Kiwi’s. Go figure.) Then Ranked people had 3 different kinds of auras that we called "Gold, Diamond, and Emerald." Kiwi somehow had a bright green Emerald aura. We figured she got it before Hub broke.
ANYWAY, Hermy turned around and yelled, "LET’S JUST GO TO TEAM SKYWARS. ON THE COUNT OF THREE, JUMP THROUGH THIS HOLE. ONE. TWO."
As soon as Hermy said "THREE" a sudden gust of "wind" knocked Kiwi back. Almost immediately, a hole opened up in the Portal behind her and she disappeared.
But there was no time. Hermy had jumped into the hole, and when I looked back, the hole where Kiwi had fell in was gone.

Just because this chapter is short, I'll be posting one tomorrow .3. ALSO BEAR WITH MEEEEE More characters will be introduced in the coming chapters!
So basically I replaced ranks with auras. I always thought it'd be kewl if Legends had a rank so there ya go
