Everything was fine.
Everything was FINE.
Okay fine, I had to admit everything WAS DEFINITELY NOT FINE.
According to Magic, the Portal had gone crazy and had already “consumed” two games. SkyWars and Hide and Seek. The weird part was that we were literally just in Hide and Seek. And since Kiwi had just been in both games... I unconsciously became suspicious of her. I didn’t want to, I mean Kiwi seemed like a nice person.
But anyone can change.
Then Magic explained Kiwi’s magical powers of seeing through her friends minds. This kinda creeped me out, but luckily she didn’t had enough time to ask me or Lucky to be her friend, so I guess our minds were safe for now.
And now we-- that is Lucky, Magic, and some random guy who came with Kiwi-- were going through the Portal. Again.
It was kinda amazing how Magic could talk so fast, and also how I could pretty much hear every word she was saying.
Also the fact that I was constantly trying to manipulate the Portal, making sure we didn’t fall in to any unexpected games and get lost.
I was holding Magic’s hand on one side, and Cap’s on the other, with Lucky next to Magic. Magic kept blabbering about stuff that I wasn’t even paying attention to when she said,
“Oh yeah Hermy this is Cap! Cap, this is Hermy! Also, WHERE ARE WE EVEN GOING?!”
“Um yeah about that,” Cap said, “I was thinking maybe-”
Suddenly the world jerked and we were lying on the ground.
“S-Sorry about that..” I said, “I’m not the best at travelling through the Portal.”
“WOA! Magic stood up, looking around, “THIS IS SU KEWLLLL!”
“Well this is the second time I’ve said this today,” a voice interrupted, “but welcome to Quake Craft strange Legends I’ve never seen before. Legends, not Legend, mind you.”
“Wait what?” Lucky said, “There was another Legend here?”
“Oh yeah, she came here just a few hours before you guys. From some game called ‘Bow Spleef.’ Never heard of it.” She smiled at us, “Well I haven’t introduced myself! I’m Sazzy, but you can call me Saz if you want. And also, could someone explain to me HOW THE HECK SO MANY LEGENDS FROM OTHER GAMES ARE HERE IN QUAKE CRAFT?”
“It’s a long story,” Lucky offered.
“Yeah, that’s the same thing Rainbow said,” Saz said, sticking out her tongue, “Oh well. Tell me later thoughhhh,”
“WELL I FOR ONE THINK THIS IS SO KEWLLLL!” Magic squealed. She ran over to Sazzy, shaking her hand so hard her body wobbled. “I’M MAGIC! NICE TO MEET CHU!”
“WOaah yeah nice to meet you too!” Sazzy said, “But maybe next time not so hard…”
“Well I’m Cap!” Cap said, and after I replied, “And I’m Hermione, but you can call me Hermy for short.”
“Oh and I’m Lucky,” Lucky said, “Also, can you show us where this other Legend is? I wanna ask how she got here.”
“Me too,” I said, trying to keep the suspicion out of my voice. Right after two games are destroyed, another Legend comes to a game? Sounds fishy if you ask me.
“Well I’m exploring this new game!” Magic said, “And Cap you can come with me!”
“Um actually-”
“DON’T TELL ME YOU DON’T WANT TO EXPLORE?”
“Y-Yeah what I was gonna say was I’m super excited! Yayyyyy!” Cap shot a look back at Lucky and me that said HELP ME, then went off with Magic.
“Follow me guys!” Sazzy said, then walked off into a hallway.

The first thing I realized when we entered the game was that everyone was staring at us suspiciously.
I kept my head low, not trying to draw attention. This game, “Micro Battles” was far enough away from SkyWars, but it didn’t seem to be the friendliest. Strel was next to me, casting fiery looks at the people staring us down, making some flinch back but also making some stand taller.
Queenie was on my other side, also keeping her head low. Good, I thought, Keep low and strike fast.
Kiwi was next to Strel, walking sort of awkwardly. She seemed unsettled by all the tension in the air.
Arya seemed to not notice any of the tension around us. She walked next to Queenie, in a normal, casual stance.
Then, suddenly someone stepped forward. The player was a girl with short brown hair and brown eyes. She had an outfit based on ducks-- duck hat, ducks on her clothes. Her eyes were cold.
She stared us down suspiciously, her gaze lingering on Kiwi and Strel for a while, then studied all out other auras. I then noticed everyone in the room had a bright green aura.
“Who are you guys?” She said sharply, “And who are the two Legends?”
“Who are you to ask?” Strel retorted, taking a step forward, “Just let us go past.”
The girl opened her mouth, about to say something, when a voice from the crowd said,
“Erin, it’s fine. Just let them pass.”
The murmuring in the crowd was immediately silenced. Every pair of eyes wandered to a girl with black hair, green eyes, and white and green clothes. Light reflected off her glasses, making it difficult to see her eyes.
And she had perhaps the brightest Legend aura I had ever seen.
She gave our group a sympathetic stare, letting us pass.
We walked past the crowd. My eyes lingered on Erin.
No one talked to my friends like that.
