I spun around, finding myself face to face with a strange creature. It seemed to be made of... snow, and had a pumpkin instead of a head. Two thin wooden arms came out of its upper body, and it narrowed its eyes at me, studying me.

It probably wasn’t expecting a cyan colored crayon to be honest.

“Umm…. who the heck are you?” I said sharply. I was pretty sure I had looked behind me, and no one was there until I heard this guy speak, “And how do you know my name?”

“I went by many names in the past,” it replied, “But you may call me The Watcher.”

“Seriously?” I scoffed, “The Watcher? That’s totally not creepy at all.”

The Watcher obviously didn’t have a sense of humor. It ignored me and replied, “I know everything and everyone. After all, I’m The Watcher.”

"Yeah, you already said that," I pointed out.

“For example,” it continued, ignoring me “You are laurendmm300, a Legend in TNT Run.”

I had no idea what the heck “laurendmm300” was, though to my surprise it kinda struck a bell.

“Your stats were quite interesting compared to most to be honest,” The Watcher admitted, “Which is why I think you can help me the most.”

I sighed. It would be a while before the “Time-out”, when we would all be teleported back to the Fort. I crossed my arms and said, “Fine. I’m listening.”

The Watcher grinned. “Well. You might not know this, being a Legend, but two minigames: SkyWars and Hide and Seek, have been completely destroyed. Just like Hub was.”

I hid my surprise. Destroyed, like Hub? Well, if I had any opinion on this, I’d say The Watcher had caused it himself and was just trying to get out of here. “Well why don’t you just get out of here yourself?” I urged him.

“It’s a long story…” The Watcher mumbled.

“Well I have a lot of time,” I replied.

The Watcher hesitated, then relented with a nod. “Very well. It all started a long time ago… before Hub broke.”

“Everything was fine back then. Everyone-- including Legends-- could travel between games safely without fear of being lost. And there were special players called staff. These players could fly up into the air, and they would moderate all the minigames and ban people who were breaking the rules.” It nodded to me, “Like that glitch exploiter you were chasing.”

“Anyway, all the staff answered to one player: the Owner. The Owner created this world, and appointed all the staff players to help him defend it. He also appointed me, and my comrade Mr. Big Nose.” I frowned at the name but he went on.

“Out of the both of us, I was definitely the stronger one. I could ban players, and kick them as well.”

“Wait -- kick them?” I eyed his lower body, “But you don’t have any legs.”

If The Watcher could roll his eyes, it probably just did, “Not literally,” It didn’t pause for me to question it and continued, “Mr. Big Nose had access to the shop, which was a place filled with different tools, weapons, armor, and many other materials. It was also like a mini-Hub, and you could travel to any game through the shop.”

“Like I said, everything was fine. Until the virus came. Slowly, bit by bit, a little bit of Hub was broken away every day. This virus wasn’t a normal virus, not like the small ones that staff defeat constantly every day. This was a big virus. An intelligent virus. And it was heading straight for the Owner.”

“The Owner didn’t know-- he couldn’t have. He was to busy in some... other world. A world where he used his powers to create what we see now. The virus struck quick-- and before we knew it, the Owner, Hub, and all the staff were gone. Every other player got wiped of their memories, and sent to their respective games while the virus ate away everything they knew.”

It paused for a while, letting that sink in.

“Except us of course. The virus couldn’t destroy me or Mr. Big Nose. We were the only ones able to stop it, but we couldn’t. We weren’t strong enough. So instead, to protect the players, we trapped the Legends in their own games, in order to keep the balance. However, that simple act itself was to much, and Mr. Big Nose and I were trapped somewhere else ever since.” The Watcher frowned. “I still do not know where he is.”

“So... now what?” I said, “It doesn’t seem like we can do anything. And even if we can, what do we do?”

The Watcher ignored me. It was getting quite good at that, I thought sourly. He continued. “Now. Games are being destroyed. Two Legends have broke out, and successfully escaped. Their escape caused two other Legends to be freed as well. This disrupts the balance. Two games have already been destroyed, and another one is at risk.”

“It’s too late to reverse the balance. However, I have a plan... and it involves you.”

I opened my eyes, looking down at my new body.

The old one was gone. I didn't need that one any more.

I had a new purpose now.

And it was to hail the new Owner of this world.

The last part of the chapter looks like when in FNAF Sister Location Circus Baby wants you to destroy her body or make a new one or something like that. Yeah and that part is spooky like the game.
