So... Any good book recommendations (e.g your favourite book perhaps?)

------------------------------------

[Random BS backstory you probably don't need to know or care about to be very honest.]
⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇

I've JUST finished "Oliver Twist" & "of mice and men" (poor Lenny T^T.) Nothing seems to interest me currently, I've been searching round the library a lot lately and most of the stuff has been read so I thought, let's get a book list from random people here!

---------------------------------------

So... Book recommendations? I don't really care what genre it is, I just want something to read.

Favourite book:
The yellow wallpaper - Charlotte Perkins Gilman

Eh... Perhaps you can recommend me something of the sort, but... I mostly just want to know what everyone's personal favourite book is.]

P.s if your here to berate others and say "Readings dumb" or... "Movies are SO much better" just remove of yourself from this thread. Bye bye Felicia. ^=^

Iron Trail Books 1-4, book 5 should be coming out this year or next year I'm excited!! But if you have time you should read them.

If you like fantasy, let me recommend Brandon Sanderson's books. Start with either Elantris or Warbreaker - they're both standalone and are great introductions to the Cosmere. Or Mistborn if you're looking for a series. There's the original Mistborn trilogy, and then the Wax and Wayne books which take place 300 years later on the same planet. My favourite books by Sanderson are the Stormlight Archive, but A, they're doorstoppers (I love them for that but IDK 'bout you), B, the series is still in progress and it'll be a while before book 4, and C, they start to reference the other Cosmere books heavily in book 3 so best to go with others first to appreciate it.
If you prefer 'soft magic' (the Cosmere books rely on incredibly strict magic systems, which is what makes them so great - I may be named after an HP character but nothing compares to Sanderson's works), there's the Reckoner's trilogy. It's more super-heroish and the system is a bit less... IDK how to put it. Defined? But the story is still amazing and it has a lot of humour.

I'll look that up later, I like fantasy a lot.

(I'm glad you didn't recommend me Harry Potter because I've read the series so many times. XD)

Nah, it's just Harry Potter is a very popular book series so I was already making mini predictions that SOMEONE here will recommend it (I didn't pay much attention to your forum name, I usually read the person who wrote it after reading there thread.)

True. It's just one of the 'major' fandoms, like PJO, Divergent, Hunger Games, etc. I've only ever seen a few people who've read Brandon Sanderson's books - I know there are a lot more, I just can't find them. But whatever website you're on there'll be someone from a major fandom.
i read so muchhh

-The 5th Wave
-Throne of Glass
-Cinder
OOH YES TO THOSE FIRST TWO
ALSO, ADD COURT OF THORNS AND ROSES TO THAT (same author as Throne of Glass, if you haven't read them. But lemme just say, Tamlin's a b****)
What's Cinder?
